How To Defeat Experiment No Z 57 Shinespark In Metroid Dread. The Metroid series is famed for its challenging boss battles. Experiment No. Z-57, on the other hand, maybe the most difficult to defeat. This adversary may be seen being worked on earlier in Metroid Dread in the Dairon section.
This scary monster disrupts ZDR’s magma flow, causing the entire planet to freeze. When Samus investigates, she discovers this hideous monster.
Gameplay for one of Metroid Dread’s most difficult bosses
At first look, Experiment No. Z-57’s attacks may appear inescapable. However, if players understand how these attacks function, they can take some easy precautions to prevent incurring damage.
This Metroid Dread boss can do five different things to Samus. The following are examples of these attacks:
- Shoots a beam cannon at Samus that sweeps across the room
- Swipes at Samus, first with one arm, and then the other
- Shoots a diagonal beam cannon that decends on one side of the room
- Blows wind at Samus while shooting projectiles at various heights
- Releases a circular vacuum that follows Samus around the room
The player must pay attention to the floor in order to deal with the beam gun that sweeps across the room. When the beams connect, hazardous residue is left behind that will harm Samus if she steps on it. Every time this technique is employed, however, one area of the floor is left clean.
Every time, the location of the site will change. The Flash Shift, on the other hand, is the best method to get there. Players may have to wait for
The Metroid boss’s swipes are easily avoided with the Spin Jump. Experiment No. Z-57, on the other hand, will do a third swipe with both hands later in the fight, covering the bottom half of the chamber.

The beam gun from which this creature blasts is simple to dodge. Standing directly beneath its mouth renders Samus immune to the full beam. However, there is a brief window of opportunity to use a melee counter.
Players should aim to counter this every time, as doing so unlocks a separate phase in which Samus may launch missiles at this Metroid adversary without fear of reprisal.
When this boss starts the wind current and fires waves at Samus, players must simply be precise.
Staying mobile allows you to easily dodge the vacuum attack. However, there are targets that the player must strike with the charge beam here. These are on the boss’ feet, and they take hold of the room’s walls during this strike.
