Wild Horses Locations In Skyrim Horses have been a key feature of Skyrim, and have been part of the Elder Scroll franchise since Oblivion. Although Oblivion’s horses were nimble and weak, nevertheless, Skyrim’s horses were slow and sturdy. Until the release of the Anniversary Edition, the only way to meet the horses in the Skyrim plains was to download the paid Creation Club addon.
Wild Horse included with the Anniversary Edition in a creation that allows players to control collect different mares in their nordic homeland. Eight new horses discovered, including the rare Unicorn tied to its unique quiz. However, finding them early may easier said than done.

If you talk to Stablemaster (or other regular store owners) on any Skyrim, players have the opportunity to purchase a Wild Horse map. This map shows the location of the nearest wildlife breed, or does not tell the player much about their specific locations.
All seven common horses found in areas marked with red X marks on the Skyrim map above. Listing below the map describes the location of each horse in detail – to find a specific horse, confirm the locations specified by the marked map. Keep in mind that you may need to search to find them, which always labeled “Wild Horse” in the game.
Where is the Unicorn in Skyrim?
Unicorn has also added with the creation of Wild Horses included in the Skyrim Anniversary Edition, although it not available to roam the world like other horses. It is only available at the request of the Historic Creature, which begins with a study of the Soran Journal at the College of Winterhold’s Arcanaeum (should be located above the Urag desk).
After starting the search, head to the Lost Hope Mine northeast of Riften. The horse should breed west of the Lost Prospect Mine, usually near a small lake. It’s as soft as any other horse, so get ready to released a few times before it becomes your new mount.
