How To Get To Celestic Town In Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl

How To Get To Celestic Town In Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl. In the Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl, players will travel throughout Sinnoh fighting trainers, catch Pokemon, challenge Pokemon Gyms, and collect TMs and HMs. For example, the HM Surf, used for navigation, will be provided to the player upon arrival in Celestic Town.

The road to Celestic Town will be clear before the players have a fourth Gym badge. However, it is locked after the event based on the story. To get to Celestic Town at Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, coaches have some tasks that they have to complete first.

What to Do First Before Entering the City of Celestic

Here are the things trainers will need:

  • Secret Medicine (Key Item)
  • Fen Badge
  • HM Defog

After arriving in Solaceon City, players can head north on Route 210. If they continue straight, they will see a house with a pink roof and a Psyduck pack crowded through the trees. These Pokemon easily block all other 210 routes, players will have to traverse to get to Celestic Town. Unfortunately, Psyduck are known to have headaches, and they will not move unless they are given Secret Medicine.

To get the Secret Tree, players need to go to Pretoria City. Here, they will fight Crasher Wake and earn a Fen badge, which allows players to use HM Defog without a fight. As for HM Defog, trainers can find this by going to Safari Zone and talking to a green-haired NPC near the door.

After having both the badge and the HM Defog in hand, players can speak to the Galactic Grunt team standing outside Safari Zone. Fight him, and chase him all the way to Valor Lakefront. Here, players will meet Cynthia, and she will give them a Secret Tree that you can use in Psyduck. Use HM Fly to Solaceon Town and up Route 210 to give Psyduck its medicine. Now, players will be able to explore the remaining 210 lane.

Route 210

The first thing trainers will notice about the northern part of Route 210 is that it is very foggy. You can navigate Route 210 without using HM Defog, however players will have difficulty avoiding coaches. So, use the HM Defog, and head north through the tall grass. This grass is different from normal grass because athletes should not be able to ride a bike past them.

Keep straight and there should be trees and lawns. Look at the grass near HM Cut Tree. Go left past this tree, and defeat the Ace Trainer standing in the road. Then go up the stairs to the mountain top.

There is an Ace Trainer Double team waiting in the first place, so fight them or go around. Take the next set of stairs to the top to get the third Ace Trainer.

Walk across the bridge and then down another bridge and there will be a Black Band Coach. Fight him and take the stairs behind him to dive into the mountains. Fight another Ace Trainer standing on the road, crossing the bridge, and there will be an experienced coach waiting at the end. Defeat him, climb the stairs to the left and continue on to Celestic Town. Once the players set foot in Celestic Town, the fog will leave Route 210.
