To be able to hold more demons in SMT 5, you must progress until you unlock miracles. Miracles are what you spend your glory on to get a variety of buffs, including the ability to hold more demons. Go to Leyline and look for the miracles section. Navigate to the Awakening tab and look for the Divine Garrison miracle. As you buy more demons, you will be able to have more on your bench. They disqualified themselves.
To gain more glory, locate Miman and the Glory Orbs on the map. They’re usually a silvery blue on the map, and breaking them nets you a lot of glory. There are also a few rare enemies who occasionally drop glory crystals. If you break those, you will gain a small boost to your glory.
