You’ll have to progress through the Forza Horizon Adventure menu until you get more unlocks. When you have the ability to freely place your points, put one in the Horizon Rush category. This will open up a new area to the north with a few tasks for you to complete. What you’re really looking for are the stunts and jumps in the area that will allow you to enter the festival area. You must accumulate points until you can unlock the Canyon Expediti
- Progress until you unlock Horizon Adventure
- Progress until you get an extra point for Horizon Adventure
- Unlock the Rust Canyon Expedition level
- Do jumps and stunts to build up the Canyon Expedition Meter
- Complete the Canyon Expedition mission to unlock drift zones

When you complete the Canyon Expedition mission, all of the drift points on the map will become available. The mission itself is a little annoying because you go from a fast car to a super slow one, but the jump at the end was quite enjoyable. When you complete this mission, you will also receive a free chicken outfit.
