How To Get Coins In Pikmin Bloom Pikmin Bloom, Nintendo and Niantic’s latest collaboration, has finally been released. While Pikmin Bloom had a six-month public playtest in Singapore, this will be the first opportunity for players worldwide to explore the game.
Pikmin Bloom, like Niantic’s previous titles, is a free-to-play augmented reality mobile game. While Pokemon GO had players searching for Pokemon, Pikmin Bloom has them walking through flower trails and collecting Pikmin.
Pikmin Bloom, like most free-to-play games, has a currency that players can use to buy items or shorten wait times: flower coins. In comparison to other free-to-play games, it’s relatively simple, with only one type of currency and two ways to earn it.

Purchasing Pikmin Coins of Bloom’s Flower
Pikmin Bloom’s flower coins can be purchased directly from the in-app store, as expected. The smallest purchase increment, 100 coins, currently costs $1.49 USD. The price of 550 coins is $7.99 USD, and the price of 1200 coins is $14.99 USD.
Pikmin Bloom’s Flower Coins can be obtained by playing the game.
As the item’s name implies, players can also earn free coins by playing the game normally, going for walks, and planting flowers. However, the ratio of coins planted to steps taken is not one to one. To save money, players will have to travel a short distance.
Having said that, the game is still in its early stages. It is unclear how Pikmin Bloom will deal with events and new mechanics.

What Can Flower Coins Be Used For?
Players can purchase nectar with flower coins, a resource that is normally obtained by stumbling upon fruit while out walking. Giving Pikmin nectar causes them to bloom, providing the player with more petals for future walks.
They can also use coins to purchase specific petal colours, changing the colour of their flower trail. On a more practical level, they can purchase single-use and special slots in which to plant Pikmin seedlings.
There are a few items that coins cannot purchase, and players can only obtain them through direct payment of real money. They are, in fact, storage upgrades. Players can permanently increase the amount of nectar, flower petals, seedlings, or Pikmin they can carry with them at any time.
Of course, walking and planting flowers aren’t the only activities available in this game. Pikmin Bloom players can also send their Pikmin on expeditions to gather resources while sitting in the comfort of their own home.
Pikmin Bloom is now available for both Android and iOS devices.
