To obtain the Mastermune, you must first progress through the game and reach the point where you are tasked with recovering the relics scattered throughout El Nido. Once you begin this quest. You must travel to the Forbidden Island in Home World and speak with Dario. Who will ask you to obtain a memento from Viper Manor. Return to the Manor with Norris, retrieve the memento, and then speak with Dario again to fight him.
