Young Horses’ Bugsnax is a fun and colourful indie game. That takes players on an expedition around Snaktooth Island, a mystery continent. Snaktooth is home to a variety of bizarre creatures that look to be a cross between bugs and snack foods. Earning them the moniker “Bugsnax.”

But each Bugsnax presents a unique difficulty that demands careful timing and a variety of specialised instruments. The Trip shot is one of these tools, and its one-of-a-kind design makes it ideal for catching even the most elusive Bugsnax.
Where Can I Get A Trip Shot?
Sugarpine Woods, an area north of Snaxburg, is home to the Trip Shot. After completing the “Ghost Stories!” quest, which introduces Chandlo, players will be able to access this location. Players will subsequently be able to enter Sugarpine Woods by crossing the bridge past the town’s wood mill.
Players must locate Chandlo and Snorpy. At their cabin in the centre of the map once they arrive in Sugarpine Woods. Will unlock Snorpy’s quest line “Snorpy Goes Outside” after completing Chandlo’s series of tasks, which includes the “Don’t Trip!” step to acquire his latest gadget, the Trip Shot.

To find the Trip Shot, players must follow Snorpy to the tall, wooden observation station near the cottage. On one of the observation post’s legs, a Sprinklepede, a donut-shaped Bugsnax, can be spotted hanging around. To go to the top of the tower, players must use the wooden launch pad at the foot of the tower, where they will discover the Trip Shot within a small, covered shelter.
Getting Out Of The Observation Post
When the player picks up the Trip Shot, an alarm goes off, trapping them inside the bunker. Snorpy then informs the gamer that this is a precautionary measure against nearby Bugsnax. A Charmallow has encircled the tower, and players must eliminate it before escaping the observation position.
Aim the Trip Shot at the wooden target that has appeared just outside the tower by attaching it to the table in the centre of the platform. The Charmallow’s flight path will take it directly into the Trip Shot’s line, shock it and turn off the security system at the observation station. Players can return to Snorpy once they’ve reached the ground to finish this quest.
One of the most useful items in the game is the Trip Shot, which can stop fast-moving and elusive Bugsnax in their tracks. This contains Bugsnax like Kwookie, Chippy, and Cheezer, as well as Bugsnax like Banopper and Cobhopper that are out of reach. The Trip Shot also has the capacity to transmit fire across its line, which makes it ideal for catching frozen Bugsnax like Scoopy Banooper.
