In The Sims 4, How To Become A Spellcaster
There are three ways to become a Spellcaster right now: CAS, inheritance, and the Rite of Ascension. Simmers can customise their Sims in any way they want in Create A Sim (CAS). Making a Spellcaster is one of them.
To add a new Sim, simply click the Plus symbol. Then select Spellcaster from the Add Occult Sim option. Keep in mind that the Sims won’t be able to use Spells until they reach the age of Teen.
The second procedure takes a little longer. It’s no secret that Sims in The Sims 4 can have children. However, it’s worth noting that if one parent is an Occult, the children may inherit the parent’s abilities.
In the case of Spellcasters, there are two possible outcomes. If one parent has magical abilities, the child has a 50% chance of becoming a Spellcaster; however, if both parents have magical abilities, the child is guaranteed to be a Spellcaster.
The third and final method, Rite of Ascension, necessitates passing through Glimmerbook’s Magical Portal. Players must seek out one of the three Sages to perform the Rite of Ascension after arriving in The Magic Realm.
To become a Spellcaster, Simmers must complete a mission assigned by the Sage. The three Sages are as The three Sages are as follows:
- Simeon Silversweater, Sage of Practical Magic
- L. Faba, Sage of Mischief Magic
- Morgyn Ember, Sage of Untamed Magic
Make friends with one Sage first, then choose Ask How to Use Magic from the Friendly Category. For a limited time, the Sage will offer players a Potion that allows them to see hidden creatures known as Magical Motes.
Outside the Magic HQ, there are small purple glowing orbs floating around. It’s difficult to miss them. Simmers must give seven Motes to any Sage after collecting them, and they will become a Spellcaster.
Players can always ask a Sage to perform the Rite of Dissolution if they no longer want to be a Spellscaster. This will restore their Sim’s normalcy.
