Murex ships can only found in the Veil Proxima. And they do not appear on any Grineer quest; instead, you must look for the beacon. You’ll see that one of the objectives in the Veil Proxima is a blinking red node, which indicates the presence of a Murex spacecraft. To get a chance to get an Anomaly Shard, you must take the Murex assignment.
Completing Murex Ship Objective
The only method to obtain an Anomaly Shard is to complete Railjack missions that include a Murex ship, as indicated by the mission blinking red on the Star Chart. To locate the Murex ship, you must select the exact task that is blinking red.
