Preparation
You’ll need an Incantation called Inescapable Frenzy to become ready. After killing the mog the omen, you can obtain this incantation beneath the Endel in the subterranean Shunning-Grounds.
There will be a chest in front of the Cathedral of the Forsaken Site of Grace with Erdtree Favor +1 Talisman inside, then hit the Altar behind it to reveal the secret route.
As you follow the trail down, you’ll come to a drop-off place with stone stairs; gently descend and you’ll find the Inescapable Frenzy incantation on a stone stair below.
It’s highly effective in the fight against adversaries that have the madness weakness because it spreads madness to them. It costs 32 FP and requires 21 Faith to cast.

You’ll be brought back to Leyndell after defeating Maliketh, the Black Blade, and there’ll be grace in front of you when you spawn. Simply relax at the grace, then proceed straight and then to the right to the stairwell leading to the doorway, where there will be a lift. Take the elevator to the boss fight location.
Now, as you enter the gate for the combat, he will give you a speech of some type. Don’t listen to anything; instead, walk right to him and use the Incantation; it will melt him into nothingness, and in just one use of the incantation, he will be dead while delivering the speech.
