In order to entice Ensha to invade, you must obtain a specific item: Haligtree’s secret locket (right). This is one of the hidden artefacts in the Lands Between, along with its other half, which you won’t be able to reach until later in the game. Because of the design of Elden Ring, rushing to grab the medallion piece could result in you being ambushed by Ensha very shortly.
You must go to the location marked on the map above to obtain the medallion component. The Albinaurists’ settlement in Liurnia is located in this area. To get to this place, either pass through or around Stormveil Castle, then ride down to Liurnia’s lake and along the western cliff face until you reach the village’s hill. When you arrive in the settlement, look for the pot that glows slightly. It’s not over the bridge, but it’s up the hill. It will turn out to be Albus, a villager, if you hit the pot with your gun. When he’s revealed, speak with him and he’ll give you the locket piece.
Ensha will ambush you the next time you visit the Roundtable Hold if you have this piece of the medallion in your inventory.
