Of course, neither Rome nor wars built in a day. To conquer territory and gain access to more resources in Expeditions: Rome, players must lead large armies across the campaign map. The armies encountered along the way will a major hindrance to these conquests, but the player will well equipped to deal with them.
Composing Command
A legion’s commander is its most vital component. In a player-controlled camp, a barracks indicated by a tent icon. The player can buy up to four commanders at a time, and each one has different stats. To maintain battlefield flexibility, it advised to have multiple commanders with diverse roles and skills.

In general, players should balance casualties and aggression. If the enemy is weaker, it may be advantageous to use more aggressive tactics. If outnumbered, the player should focus on defensive options. Hovering over a card shows the player how their action will play out, so look at all of them to make the best choice.
