Radahn Fest
To face Radahn, players must first travel to the Radahn Festival at Castle Redmane in Southeast Caelid. The easiest way to get to the festival is via a portal right before the castle bridge. But this portal isn’t always open. Continue Iron Fist Alexander and Half-Wolf Blaidd’s questlines, and meet Ranni at her tower in Liurna of the Lakes. She will invite the player to the festival, and the portal will open.
The portal can also be opened by exploring Altus Plateau or by using the Great Lift of Dectus in Liurna of the Lakes.
A player can speak with Alexander and Blaidd after entering the courtyard through the portal. Going up the stairs and talking to the announcer starts a cutscene that leads to Radahn.
Starscourge: Phase 1
Radahn’s battle begins when players pass through the beach portal below Castle Redmane (accessed via a lift that becomes accessible once the announcer is spoken to).
He starts by firing gravity-powered arrows at the player, which can be dodged but often stagger if blocked. The players should run towards the swords embedded in the ground directly ahead of them, as each sword cluster can block one arrow from Radahn.

Radahn mainly uses gravity arrows, but he also throws swords at you, which you must avoid. Sword rain can be avoided by mounting Torrent and riding away from him as quickly as possible.
Three golden summoning signs are located directly behind the first sword cluster. In battle against Radahn, these summon signs will call out other Radahn festival participants to aid the player.\

Fortunately, these signs are reusable and can found all over the arena. So players can call in more help as Radahn reduces their numbers.
Due to his sheer size, Radahn’s sword attacks are best avoided from directly underneath him when in melee range. Some attacks, like the ground stab that causes a gravity implosion and is sometimes followed by an overhead slam that causes an explosion, require players to dodge roll with good timing.
Players should try to keep up with his movements and be ready to dodge when he makes a big move. Players can use Torrent to catch up to him if he moves far.
You should wait until Radahn commits to a melee attack on summoned allies before casting spells or drawing back the bowstring. The Incantation “Ekzykes Decay” is particularly effective against Radahn, as Scarlet Rot will do a lot of damage to him throughout the phase.
Radahn is particularly vulnerable to bleed and scarlet rot effects, which can cause massive damage. This is especially useful during his first phase, when hitting him is easier.
Radahn will launch himself into the sky and vanish at half health. Radahn’s explosive re-entry to the battlefield can do massive damage, so either mount Torrent and sprint out of the way as fast as you can. The pause before the meteor allows you to heal or use the flask of wondrous physick uninterrupted.
Phase 2 of the Starscourge
Radahn’s attacks will become faster, and he will use magic to launch energy bolts and meteorites at his enemies. Keeping summons around to distract him will allow players to heal and/or cast spells.
The orbiting meteors he summons are dangerous because they fire slowly, making them easy to miss in the heat of battle. Keeping distance while outrunning Torrent’s projectiles can help here.
As well as using his gravity attack to pull enemies towards him. Which requires a well-timed dodge roll to avoid staggered, Radahn. Has a dangerous wave attack that he will launch by dragging his swords through the ground.
Strike Radahn as often as you can until he falls. Scarlet Rot can be tricky to apply during this phase, but it does a lot of damage and keeps chipping away at him for the rest of the fight.
