How To Get Massive Mass Outbreaks Legends Arceus. Pokemon Legends: Arceus received an update dubbed “Daybreak” on February 27, 2022. For those who have completed the main tale, the new Pokemon Legends: Arceus Daybreak featured new content. A new Berry harvest in Jubilife Village, more trainers to combat in the Training Grounds, and a few postgame Requests are among the new features. The new Massive Mass Outbreaks are one of the features included in the Daybreak update.
In Pokemon Legends: Arceus, a mass outbreak occurs when a Pokemon species is discovered in one of Hisui’s areas. Normally, each Outbreak produces a group of 15 Pokemon, but Massive Mass Outbreaks go even further. Prior to the Daybreak update, each region had just one Outbreak of Pokemon. Multiple Outbreaks can occur at the same time in a Massive Mass Outbreak. To obtain them, gamers must first accomplish a few activities.

Unlocking Massive Mass Outbreaks
Massive Mass Outbreaks are controlled by Mai of the Diamond Clan, who issues a Request. Before the Request becomes available, players must first watch the Pokemon Legends: Arceus end credits.
Visit the Obisidian Fieldlands and warp to the Heights Camp once this is completed. To begin Request 95: A New Anomaly, speak with Mai and her Munchlax, then proceed to the objective marker on Ramanas Island. Players will be confronted with a swarm of Zorua, who are not native to the Obsidian Fieldlands. The next stage is to return to Mai at the Heights Camp, where they can either catch them or abandon them. This will prompt trainers to report to Cyllene in Jubilife Village, who has coined the term “Massive Mass Outbreaks” to describe this new phenomena. Request 96: Massive Mass Outbreak in the Fieldlands will then begin.
Massive Mass Outbreaks are not indicated on the map by a Pokemon’s face. Instead, a question mark icon will appear. During a Massive Mass Outbreak, there will be significant rain/snow, and examining the map will reveal where the Outbreaks are occurring. Once the Question Mark Outbreak has been recognised, there will be many Question Mark icons that will become Pokemon Outbreak icons.
It will rain/snow for as long as it is raining/snowing during a Massive Mass Outbreak (Alabaster Icelands). As players explore the area, they will receive notifications indicating how long the Outbreaks will persist.

Report back to Mai after examining two Massive Mass Outbreaks in the Fieldlands, and Massive Mass Outbreaks will begin to develop in the Fieldlands. After completing Request 96, which sees the player investigate Massive Mass Outbreaks in the remaining parts of Hisui, the player will receive Requests 97-101.
How to Trigger Massive Mass Outbreaks
Simply exit in and out of Jubilife Village to cause a Massive Mass Outbreak.
- Make your way to the Front Gate.
- Select any of Hisui’s territories if Ress (the gate guard) does not cite rumours of a Massive Mass Outbreak (Fieldlands, Mirelands, Highlands, Coastlands, or Icelands).
- Return to Jubilife Village by speaking with Laventon.
- If Ress still hasn’t received any reports of a Massive Mass Outbreak, return to the Front Gate and repeat the process. He’ll eventually bring up the possibility of a Massive Mass Outbreak.
This is the same strategy that is used to cause ordinary Pokemon Outbreaks.
Remember that the Question Mark indicator indicates a Massive Mass Outbreak. It’s a standard Mass Outbreak if the icon that appears when picking a region features a Pokemon.
