Pokemon Go Global Event Roadmap 2022. While the year 2022 has already begun. Niantic has some significant Pokemon GO news as it prepares to launch the next in-game season. Which will last until the end of winter and into spring. The mobile augmented reality experience has endured this long due to its continuous innovation and sensitivity to community feedback. And it appears as though the creators intend to continue that trend in the months ahead.
Niantic published the early 2022 Pokemon GO roadmap this week, and it’s clear. That the developers intend to return the game’s focus to social engagement, exercise, and exploration. This is unsurprising for gamers. Many of the game’s early pandemic remote play features have already nerfed (or eliminated entirely). Signalling the start of the transition back to real-world activities.
What this entails for gaming is extremely fascinating. Global events, GO Battle League enhancements, new postcard capabilities, seasonal changes. And some more unique Community Days are all on the horizon for players. Whether this translates into further Community Day Classics or some other variation remains a mystery for the time being.
