How To Win The Finchwick Fair In Sims 4.Following the release of The Sims 4: Cottage Living, it is now possible to attend the Finchwick fair. Here are some tips on how Sims can win in the fair.
Simmers may now explore the World of Henford-on-Bagley, assist locals with their errands, and care for a variety of animals thanks to the Cottage Living Expansion Pack for The Sims 4. Players can sign the animals up for the weekly Finchwick fair in addition to nurturing them.
The Finchwick fair is usually held in Finchwick, Henford-on-Bagley (next to the Garden and Grocery Stalls in The Sims 4). Every week, players can enter to win prizes and Simoleons by registering their cattle or products. Simmers must be ready for anything because the theme changes every week.

How To Win The Finchwick Fair In The Sims 4
Sims can enter the competition by presenting a product, such as an enlarged corporation, a normal corporation, a pie, or livestock, such as cows, llamas, and chicks. Players have higher chances to win if the product or livestock is scarce.
There are two competitions at every fair, each with its own stall. Sims must go to each one and choose Submit an Entry. Make sure the merchandise, as well as the animals, are in the inventory before going to the fair. By selecting Actions, Put in Inventory after clicking on the animal, the latter can be added.
The Finchwick Fair is divided into five sections, each with its own theme:
- Garden Fair
- Oversized Corp Fair
- Llama Fair
- Cow Fair
- Chicken Fair
The Garden Fair
Garden and pie are the two competitions. Players will have to put their Gardening Skills to the test in order to win the first one. They will undoubtedly win this tournament by bringing uncommon harvestable fruits such as Pomegranate and Dragon fruit. Lemons and strawberries, as well as other common and uncommon harvestables, can be contributed. The most crucial element is to water, weed, and fertilise the plant on a daily basis until the day of the competition.
Having a Golden Chicken bless the plants will also boost the quality of anything that can be harvested.
Simmers must create a pie with uncommon ingredients to win the second round. Making the pie with an unusual egg, such as a rainbow egg, and top-notch fruits will yield an excellent pie. Always keep in mind that the better the ingredients, the fresher they are.
Fair for Oversized Corporations
This one, like the Garden theme, will have a pie competition. From the fridge, players must choose any sort of pie accessible in the Cook Category. Although fresh, unusual ingredients are recommended, Simmers can still produce a beautiful pie with regular components.
The enormous corporation is the other competitor. Players must deliver the largest, freshest, and most perfect gigantic goods they can find. They should begin by purchasing the new Gardening Plot in Buy Mode. After that, go ahead and purchase Oversized Corps Seeds by clicking on it. Plant it and care for it like you would any other plant. Simmers can also purchase fertilisers to keep their plants clear of weeds and bugs. Be patient as it takes time to fully develop. Until the fair, the corp can be stored in the refrigerator.

Llama Fair
Llamas may be purchased from the Build Mode by purchasing a Livestock Stall. In a single stall, just one llama can fit. Simmers must develop a strong bond with their animals in order to win the first competition. Furthermore, the llama must be clean, well-fed, and content. Feeding them Golden and Rainbow goodies will cause them to produce various coloured wool, leading to the second competition.
Because the first competition was for llamas, the second will undoubtedly be for wool. The colour and quality are determined by the llama’s temperament and colour. Simmers will be rewarded with high-quality rare wool if they befriended their animal and provided it special goodies.
Cow Fair
Cows, like llamas, are large animals that can only be kept in a Livestock Stall. Cleaning the shed and restocking the food is a must if you want to win the first tournament. Aside from cleaning and replenishing the stall on a regular basis, players must also clean and converse with the cow in order to maintain a positive relationship. Simmers can now take it to the fair once it’s in good form. They can either give it a treat or leave the cow alone. The most crucial aspect is to have high requirements.
Milk is the subject of the second competition. It could be ordinary or unusual milk. After milking the cow, feeding it rewards like the Flirty or Rainbow attribute will result in special milk. It is feasible to submit plain, high-quality milk. Rare milk, on the other hand, has a somewhat better chance of winning.
Fair of Chickens
The chicken and the egg rivalry is part of this subject. The best chicken and its product must be submitted by the players. The importance of a well-fed, clean, and content chicken cannot be overstated. Furthermore, feeding it the Golden treat will turn it into a golden chicken, which will bless any harvestable for future competitions. Sims can also enter this unique chicken in the fair.
Any unusual, outstanding egg will suffice for the second competition. Players can get them by feeding treats to the chickens, which will eventually result in the chickens laying special eggs. Bringing these eggs to the fair will give any Sim a Confidence Moodlet. Normal eggs can also be used if they are of excellent quality.
For participating, each player receives a white ribbon. First, second, and third place, on the other hand, have their own ribbons and prizes:
- First Prize: a red ribbon, $500, and a variety of gardening items
- Second Place: A blue ribbon, $250, and a variety of gardening items
- Third Place: Yellow Ribbon, $50, and random gardening objects
Finally, players can bribe the judge, Lavina Chopra, the Mayor, for $250 if they are desperate to win.
The Sims 4 is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
