How To Get The Slow Time Shout In Skyrim

How To Get The Slow Time Shout In Skyrim. Shouts play an important role in Skyrim. Despite others having to practise and train for decades to be able to use the Thu’um at all, the Dragonborn may learn these powers exceptionally quickly and nearly instantly recite and use words they uncover. Slow Time is a Shout that does a lot more than it appears.

Players are not nearly as impacted by the Thu’um’s time distortion as NPCs, hence the Slow Time shout is beneficial for almost any type of build in Skyrim. This means an Archer may fire a few more arrows than usual, a Thief can masterfully sneak past unsuspecting adversaries, and a bruiser can swiftly move behind their opponent and break their skull from the flank. However, getting this yell is no easy task.

What Does The Slow Time Shout Do?

The Slow Time scream, like most others in Skyrim, made up of three words. Slow Period grows more powerful as players learn more words, but at the cost of a considerably longer recharge time. Players can slow the game down by 70% for 8 all-too-brief seconds after learning the first word (and investing a Dragon Soul).

The second word boosts the slowing impact to 80% and lengthens the effect to 12 seconds. The entire Thu’um slows time to 10% of normal and boosts the duration to 16 seconds – this ultimate version of Slow Time is so potent that players can snag incoming missiles out of the air and manoeuvre completely unobserved around hostile NPCs at the end of its duration.
