Though each character in Stardew Valley has their own preferences, there are a few goods that are enjoyed by almost everyone. As a result, this list has been updated to include a few more of Stardew Valley’s best presents, as well as more information on how to earn them.

Wine
Residents of Pelican Town enjoy a variety of Artisan Goods, but Wine is one of the easiest and cheapest to create in large quantities. Make it by putting any type of fruit in a Keg and letting it ferment into this popular beverage. Penny and Sebastian also don’t seem to be large drinkers, as Wine (and all other alcoholic beverages) are among their Hated gifts. Harvey and Leah, on the other hand, consider it one of their favourite gifts, and the rest of the villagers agree.
Cooked Dishes
A home-cooked meal, just like in real life, is a terrific way to win someone over in Stardew Valley. Except for Bread, Fried Egg, Seafoam Pudding, and Strange Bun, any dish prepared in the farmhouse kitchen will endear the player to the townspeople. Players can cook by purchasing at least one farmhouse improvement from Robin to add a kitchen to their home; alternatively, they can build a campfire to prepare recipes outside.
Keep in mind, however, that many villagers have their own preferences for certain foods. Sebastian, for example, refuses to eat anything that contains eggs, while Emily and Evelyn aren’t particularly fond of shellfish. Willy, on the other hand, is one of a kind in that he despises any prepared dish that does not contain fish.
Truffle Oil
Truffle oil gives a dash of luxury flavour to any food in the real world, and it appears to be the same in Stardew Valley, as the majority of villagers list it as one of their favourite items. It is well-liked by practically everyone, and Harvey is especially fond of it. Sebastian, Jas, and Vincent are the only villagers who dislike Truffle Oil.
To get this gourmet food item, players must buy pigs to keep in their barn and train them to sniff for and dig up truffles on the farm. Players can then collect these and use them in an Oil Maker to make Truffle Oil in about 6 hours in-game. Starting at Farming Level 8, the Oil Maker can be constructed with 50 Slime, 20 Hardwood, and 1 Gold Bar.
Life Elixir
At Combat Level 2, you can make the endlessly beneficial Life Elixir, which requires a Purple Mushroom, Red Mushroom, Chanterelle, and Morel to brew. It not only restores a large amount of health, but it also earns players decent friendship points with all characters save Krobus, Leo, and Willy.
Some players, on the other hand, may be put off by the concept of manufacturing such a useful item merely to give it away. Many people prefer to have their life elixirs on ready for perilous dungeon ventures because some of the ingredients can be difficult to come by in large quantities. Still, players that have a Mushroom Cave will have a lot of fungi to work with, and will be able to make a lot of elixirs for themselves and others.
Gemstones
Gemstones, like flowers, are one of the most popular gifts among the peasants. They’re also easy to come by: Amethyst and Topaz can be found on any level of the mines, and the deeper the player digs, the more precious stones like Rubies, Emeralds, and Diamonds are discovered. Furthermore, the player will have an unending supply of gifts if they create a few Crystalariums.
However, a number of villagers do not consider jewels to be among their favourite items. A different gift is the way to go if the player wishes to win over Pierre, Leah, or Linus.
Jelly
Players can put in any variety of fruit once they learn how to make Preserves Jars. The fruit will have changed into Jelly after a few days, and players will be able to collect it. Depending on the fruit, these can be quite expensive, but they also make excellent gifts. At Farming Level 4, you can learn how to make Preserves Jars, which require 50 Stone, 40 Wood, and 8 Coal.
Because it’s one of the least valuable types and Salmonberries are plentiful in the spring, Salmonberry Jelly is a fantastic choice for giving. Any villager, except Sebastian, will be delighted to receive a jar of homemade jam once it has been collected.
Flowers
Flowers are inexpensive and make excellent gifts for almost everyone. Plant Blue Jazz and Tulips in the spring, and Summer Spangles and Sunflowers in the summer, and forage for Sweet Peas. Sunflowers and Fairy Roses bloom beautifully in the fall. Forage for Crocuses in the winter.
This one, like jewels, has exceptions, so choose alternative gifts to win George’s, Sebastian’s, or Clint’s friendship. Also, keep in mind that, unlike the rest of the floral family, poppies are universally despised as a gift.
Honey

Honey, like flowers, is simple to grow. The Bee House crafting recipe is learnt at level 3 farming and requires the following common resources: 40 wood, 8 coal, 1 iron bar, and 1 maple syrup. Make a few, scatter them over the property, and let the bees do their thing.
The honey will be called “Sunflower Honey,” “Tulip Honey,” or whatever flower’s nectar the bees have been sipping on if flowers are planted within five tiles of the home. Otherwise, it’ll be “Wild Honey.” Except for Maru and Sebastian, any sort of Honey will be well-received by any villager once gathered.

Maple Syrup
A jug of real, fresh maple syrup to pour over their pancakes is hard to resist. Though it is useful in crafting, most players do not need to store up on it in large quantities, making it an excellent gift option.
The Tapper recipe is unlocked at Foraging Level 3. Make a few tappers (each with two copper bars and 40 wood) and hang them on maple trees in the forest or on the farm. To gather the maple syrup they generate, check them every nine days. Except for Maru, every villager picks Maple Syrup as one of their favourite things on their lists of Liked presents.
Fruit Tree Fruit
A homegrown apple, peach, or other orchard fruit can’t go wrong: every villager, without exception, enjoys them. Fruit trees yield daily while in season, despite the fact that they require time to mature, making them a fantastic source of generally liked gifts.
Pierre’s business has saplings for all of the most popular fruit trees all year. It’s easier to plan ahead because they take 28 days to mature. Plant an orange tree, for example, on the first day of spring and reap the benefits all summer.

The best area to find Prismatic Shards is Skull Cavern. The rabbit’s foot is an excellent gift due to its limited practical purpose and relative simplicity of acquisition. To maximise your chances of acquiring one, make sure any bunnies you have are fed and handled on a daily basis.
Magic Rock Candy
Magic Rock Candy also widely adored, with no exclusions this time. Watch the faces of any villager light up when you give them this present! It’s not surprising, given that this item boosts Mining, Luck, Speed, Attack, and Defense.
However, obtaining this item is not simple. One can obtained as a reward for giving 90 things to the museum. Or it can dropped by Haunted Skulls on an extremely rare basis. Every Thursday, a trader in Calico Desert sells one for the exorbitant price of three Prismatic Shards. Most players opt to keep this item because of its great bonuses after going to such lengths.
Golden Pumpkin
Another favourite among Stardew Valley people is the Golden Pumpkin, which appears on every villager’s Loved list. It’s a terrific way to gain some friendship points with a bachelor or bachelorette who has caught the player’s interest because its only practical purpose is in tailoring.
The Golden Pumpkin’s drawback, like that of the Magic Rock Candy, is its scarcity. Every year, however, one can found near the end of the Spirit’s Eve festival maze if you merely visit the festival every year. It also has a 3.7 percent chance of found within an Artifact Trove.
Pearl
This gift, like the other two, is adored by everyone in the hamlet. The player can obtain a pearl at a number of fixed events and locations:
- Correctly playing the mermaid’s song at the Night Market (once per save file)
- Digging at the spot marked in Journal Scrap 6
- Willy will send one to the player after they fill a fishing pond with 10 crabs
Build a fish pond and fill it with blobfish to boost your chances of finding pearls (caught in the submarine at the Night Market). A pearl has a slight probability of appearing in the pond’s chum bucket if there are nine or more happy fish in the pond.
