However, all of these features come at a cost and the Aya Neo has already sold out on its crowdfunding page. It costs $870 which is already higher than some gaming laptops available in India.
Earlier, the company released its Aya Neo consoles Founder’s Edition back in January 2021, which has fully sold-out. So functionally, the newly released Aya Neo is a second version. The latest, wider release promises many changes compared with the original edition.
Aya Neo is now available for purchase on Indiegogo starting at HKD 6,120 (~ USD 789) for the 500GB edition. The portable gaming system, which looks like a Nintendo Switch in design, promises to deliver a full-fledged PC gaming experience in the palm of your hands.
- An improved operating system
- Reduced weight
- The option to toggle rumble
- Better buttons
- Better power consumption and performance presets
The previous version created issues with scaling or blurred displays. The company notes that the issue of scaling in the current version has been addressed. A new $47 optional dock is available from the manufacturer:
- Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 type-A ports
- One HDMI port
- One SD card slot
- One MicroSD card slot
- One ethernet jack
Coming from the other info, the Founder’s Edition shows us the same details:
- 7-inch 1280×800 IPS display
- A 10-25W AMD Ryzen 4500U CPU
- 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM
- Three USB-C ports
- Up to 6 hours of estimated battery life.
Aya is the first company to be able to market the version of its founding goods. It is definitely new to the enterprise, but it looks promising to look at its results up to now. Although the specifications are not too high, the console is always a crowd-funded product.
For the 500GB model or $6,750 for the USD (approximately $869) for the 1TB model, you can get the Aya Neo in Indiegogo for $6,120HKD (around $789$).
