Where To Find Golden Koi In Genshin Impact. In Genshin Impact, you’ll find a variety of fish, including Golden Koi. To obtain the new Polearm, “The Catch,” travellers must collect 20 Golden Koi, 20 Rusty Koi, and six Raimei Angelfish. This Polearm is ideal for characters who rely on Elemental Burst, and it’s also Raiden Shogun’s finest F2P weapon in Genshin Impact.
“The Catch,” as well as the weapon’s Refinement Materials, may be purchased from Kujirai Momiji in Inazuma. Because the fish takes a long time to respawn, Genshin Impact players should start fishing right away.
Scott Vengel updated this page on December 17, 2021: Even with the addition of new features in their version 2.3 release, Genshin Impact continues to make remarkable progress. Players will be introduced to new weapons, characters that boost the abilities of same-element teams (the Genshin Impact community isn’t calling version 2.3 the “Geo update” for nothing), and a new occasional two banner system for character reruns at the same time as the Arataki Itto banner is released. Players, on the other hand, are anticipating the extension of previously released features, such as the Fishing System, thus this article will be revised to provide greater clarification for players hoping to capture the Golden Koi.

Golden Koi Locations
In Genshin Impact, each species arrives in a separate location and has its unique spawn period. Some appear throughout the day, while others appear at night; the Golden Koi, on the other hand, can be seen at any time of day. These are the locations where players can find Golden Koi. Players should also be aware that Golden Koi take three days to respawn in any given fishing spot, so it may be required to fish in many locations.
Stormbearer Mountains
Golden Koi can only be found in the Stormbearer Mountains in Mondstadt. The fishing place is conveniently located. Travelers to the Genshin Impact only need to walk northeast of the Teleport Waypoint. This is also one of the quickest areas to travel to for players wanting to catch Golden Koi as quickly as possible due to its proximity to the Teleport Waypoint.
West of Wangshu Inn
Liyue has the most Golden Koi ponds. The first is situated to the west of Wangshu Inn. Gliding from the inn or using the Teleport Waypoint northwest of the angling spot are both options.
West of Mingyun Village
Near the broken bridge between Guili Plains and Mingyun Village, the second Golden Koi place in Liyue may be found. Players may have to defeat some Hilichurls before they can enjoy their fishing time because they are around.

Luhua Pool
Travelers can teleport to the domain in Luhua Pool to reach the last Golden Koi location in Liyue. A wind current will appear if a character steps on the Pressure Plate in front of the domain. This can be utilised to glide out of the hole instead of climbing.
Seirai Island
Inazuma has the last Golden Koi place available. Inazuma, like Mondstadt, has a single Golden Koi site. The Statue of the Seven on Seirai Island can be used to rapidly get to the location.
Players must remember that Golden Koi will only eat Fake Fly Bait, therefore they must craft them before each fishing excursion. If they don’t already have the recipe for the Fake Fly Bait, they must first purchase the blueprint from Nantuck. Genshin Impact players will require Sakura Bloom and Horsetail to manufacture Fake Fly Bait, which can be obtained in Inazuma and Dihua Marsh, respectively. Pufferfish are also caught with this style of bait.
Except for the one in Stormbearer Mountains, all of the angling places have Rusty Koi. As a result, travellers can fish for both species at the same time. To unlock the Catch polearm, you’ll need both Golden and Rusty Koi. Both can be utilised ornamentally in the Serenitea Pot or processed for fish meat, just like other fish captured in the fishing system.
Rusty Koi may be found in the Wangshu Inn, Mingyun Village, Luhua Pool, and Seirai Island fishing places, together with Golden Koi. It can also be caught in the Whispering Woods in the Cider Lake, though Genshin Impact players should be warned that Golden Koi cannot be caught there.
In Genshin Impact 2.1, a new mechanic called fishing was introduced. Fans of the popular game were overjoyed by the new update. However, fans should keep in mind that they need to be at least Adventure Rank 28 to be able to enjoy the new feature.
