Valheim Wolf Taming Guide How To Tame A Wolf

Valheim Wolf Taming Guide: How To Tame A Wolf.Wolves – when we think about wolves, we immediately think of their majesty! What beautiful, yet terrible creatures. Owning a wolf in Valheim might provide the player with additional perks. Valheim’s wolves are extremely adaptable beasts. They have the incredible ability to travel at breakneck speed. They’ve also faced assassins and have unique ability to take out even the most powerful foes.

Players must tame the wolf before they can own one. This is not a simple task. It may prove difficult, but it is not impossible. Players can make this gorgeous beast loyal to them and battle with them by using the appropriate methods and knowledge.

GETTING READY TO TAME

  • To begin, players must first gather basic goods. They’d need a lot of wood, a Valheim workbench, some health food, possibly five or six pieces of raw meat, and a lot of patience. They’d also need access to the Mountain biome, which should be rather easy to locate on most maps.
  • You must first and foremost locate a wolf. They patrol from the biome’s edge on a regular basis. Cut down a few trees to see if it draws any wolves, but make sure you have a safe spot to flee.
  • When you’ve found a suitable contender, build a pen out of stakewall; the wall’s tenacity ensures that the wolf won’t be able to escape when you initially catch it. Make room for you (and the wolf) to enter the pen and build a platform that looks down into it.

THE WOLF’S CONTROL

  • It’s time to use yourself as bait after you’ve prepared yourself. You can either complete this section fully equipped (with cold resistance potions or a wolf cape) or with at least 50 HP.
  • Run towards the wolf to get its attention (the freezing debuff shouldn’t bother you if you’re only there for a few seconds), then rush back to your pen. Using Eikthyr’s might is advantageous here, but it is not required.
  • To keep the wolf inside, get onto the platform and quickly create the final stakewall. It will be irritated at this point and will seek to flee by assaulting the walls. Throw three or four pieces of raw meat into the wolf, then retreat; the wolf should relax, with golden hearts floating above it, signifying that the taming process has begun.

If it has access to meat, it should take about a day and a half to tame. Keep in mind that if you leave the area, the taming process appears to stop, so stay close by. You can check on it from time to time and repair the stakewall as needed, but bear in mind that the wolf will become upset and attack it again if you approach it.

AFTER MANAGEMENT

You can order the wolf to follow you or stay once it has been tamed, although the latter command will allow it to roam within a specified radius of that place. If you have two domesticated wolves, you can breed them. Continue to feed them to keep them ‘happy,’ and then let nature take its course.

WOLVES IN THE PROCESS OF REPRODUCTION

  • You can start breeding Wolves after you have two or more tamed Wolves, and Wolves of different levels can mate with each other.
  • To breed Wolves, simply feed both Wolves, and if they stay close enough to each other, they will mate. Building a pen and dumping a stack of Raw Meat or Sausages into it is a good technique to get Wolves to breed, and they will continue to breed even while you are away.
  • You can only have a set amount of Wolves in a given place if you want them to breed, and the larger the pen, the more breeding will occur. A Wolf Cub is born after two Wolves mate and continues to develop into a full-fledged Wolf at the same level as its parents. However, when breeding Wolves of various levels, the Wolf Cub will inherit a random level from one of its parents.

WOLF CAPE AND ARMOR CREATING

If you want to spend more time in the mountains, a wolf cape is great. The freezing debuff and frost-resistance potions will no longer be an issue for players. Although it costs a little more Valheim silver to construct, the wolf breast armour does the same function.

It’s also worth noting that if you’re wet, regardless of armour, you’ll get the freezing debuff, thus it’s better to avoid the slopes until it’s sunny.
