Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach puts players in the shoes of Gregory, a young child who must survive the night in order to flee a mall. Of course, he’s continuously pursued by the scary animatronics from Five Nights at Freddy’s. Before Gregory can leave, he’ll have to overcome puzzles, reveal mysteries, and wait until 6 a.m.
Fans of Five Nights at Freddy’s were undoubtedly expecting the game to come out today, but the makers released a message on their official website confirming the game’s minor delay. The blog post also explains why the delay occurred, as well as the official (new) release date for FNAF: Security Breach for PC, PS4, and PS5.

On Thursday, December 16th at 6 p.m. PST, Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach will be released on all platforms. The company had planned to release the game at midnight, but had to delay it due to bugs and other serious difficulties. Fans of Five Nights at Freddy’s will have to wait a little longer for this new game, but the wait will be worth it, as the makers claim that the experience will be worth it and that many bugs have been squashed: “As an indie studio, this is easily the biggest game we’ve ever made.” We’ve done thousands of balance and bug fixes in the lead up to launch. To achieve this, the crew pushed itself to the limit.There is no limit. My brilliant coworkers have poured their hearts and souls into this project. I, for one, am grateful for their efforts and quite proud of what they’ve accomplished. All of this means that, once any serious concerns have been resolved, the staff will take a holiday break. I believe that once you’ve all started playing, you’ll agree that they’ve earned it.”
Players should be aware, however, that not every single problem will be removed from the game, as this is simply impractical for many developers, particularly independent ones.
