Where To Find Rodent Lard In Wytchwood Wytchwood is a dangerous place based on a story. Players will have to trap, fool, and terrify violent beasts in the wild in order to not only survive but also collect bits of them for spells and regents. The Dryad is one of these creatures that players will encounter early in Wytchwood’s 10-hour playtime.
Wytchwood’s Dryads
Players will find some Dryads in Wytchwood’s Forest area. These enormous tree-like monsters guard not only the Fairy stones that players must destroy to complete the Snake chapter, but they also contain one-of-a-kind fruits that the witch will require for future spells. They, like all the other aggressive creatures in the game, have a weakness that the witch can uncover with the Witch’s Sight. The Dryad has a vulnerability known as a Cinderbox.
Cinderboxes are made of Embers, which can be found in Ash Piles, Fireflies, which can be found in the Forest’s two Fairy Glens, and something called Rodent Lard. Players may believe that the only method to obtain Rodent Lard is to hunt down Wytchwood rodents in the Graveyard, but they will not have access to the Graveyard the first time they require it.
In Wytchwood, Where Can I Get Rodent Lard?
Squirrels in Wytchwood provide Rodent Lard. Players only need to glance at a squirrel through the Witch’s Sight to figure out how to catch one. It will reveal that their Achilles’ heel is a spring trap composed of rope, branches, and an impeye nut. Each of these items can found around the Forest biome and then combined in the same way that crafting in Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing is done.
- Reedy Twine comes from the reeds that grow around water in both the Forest and by the witch’s home. Clip it with the shears.
- Twigs can picked up from the ground and also can taken from Rotten Logs on the ground with the ax as well.
- Impeye Nuts found all over the forest floor and also in Rotten Logs.
Create a Wickerwork with one Reedy Twine and two Twigs, then make a Snap Trap with one Wickerwork and an Impeye Nut. Place the trap near a squirrel, then walk away from it and wait for the squirrel to jump into it. Every captured squirrel will drop two to three Meaty Morsels and one Rodent Lard, which can used in subsequent spells. Meaty Morsels also required to assist with the collection of dog’s hair for the purpose of lighting the braziers in Wytchwood.
