How To Get Gible In Pokemon Brilliant Diamond And Shining Pearl Pseudo-legendary Pokemon have a base stat total of 600 and evolve through three stages. The majority of these Pokemon are Dragon-type, with a few exceptions. Garchomp, a pseudo-legendary Pokemon, can be obtained in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl. Some Pokemon fans may recognise Garchomp as the main Pokemon of Cynthia’s champion in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. However, in order to obtain this Pokemon, players must first capture Gible.
The Gible-line is Dragon/Ground-type, making them resistant to most Types (for example, Fire, Grass, Water), but weak to Fairy and Dragon-type. Because of its dual-typing, Gible is also extremely vulnerable to Ice-types (4x weakness).
What Trainers Need
Before they can catch Gible, players will need to have a few things:
- HM04 Strength
- HM03 Surf
- Mine Badge
HM03 will be rewarded to the player for helping Cynthia’s grandmother in Celeste City.
To obtain HM04 Strength, visit The Lost Tower on Route 209, which is located south of Solaceonon town. There will be two elders at the top who will bestow a Cleanse Tag and HM04 Strength. This move, however, cannot be used in battle until the player has obtained the Relic Badge.
After obtaining the Relic Badge from Fantina in Hearthome City, the game will instruct trainers to proceed to the next gym, which is located in Canalvine City. To get to Canalvine, players must use HM03 Surf to navigate Route 218. They’ll be able to take on the gym challenge and face Byron once they arrive in Canalvine. His Pokemon’s levels range from 35 to 39, and he excels at Steel-type moves. Bring Fire or Fighting-type equipment.
Purchase Quick Balls, Dark Balls, and Ultra Balls from a few Pokemarts. Finally, it’s a good idea to keep a Pokemon around that can inflict non-damaging status ailments (paralysis, sleep).
erroneous cave
After finishing all of this, it’s time to visit Gible’s home, Wayward Cave. Wayward Cave has two entrances on Route 206, beneath the Cycling Road. Instead of turning right, turn left. The hidden entrance is located beneath Cycling Road, against the rock walls. Allow a Pokemon to use Strength to move the boulders and begin looking for Gible.
Gible is a rare Pokemon that can be challenging to capture. Furthermore, Gible is likely to be weaker than the Pokemon in the party, so bring a Pokemon between levels 19 and 20. To make catching it easier, use Dark Balls or Quick Balls. If these aren’t in your inventory, weaken it and inflict status ailments on it before tossing an Ultra Ball.
Gible has a low Defense and Special Defense, but a high Attack of 70. It may take some time to level it up, but once it reaches level 24 and becomes Gabite, it will have a much higher Speed stat, which will aid it in attacking first in battle. Gabite will evolve into Garchomp at level 48.
Of course, if trainers want to bypass all this hard work, they can receive a Gible in a Trade instead. Be warned that a Traded Pokemon is prone to disobey commands if the trainer doesn’t have enough Gym Badges.
