- Login to your AdSense account
- Click on Gear icon at the top right & select settings.
- In the left sidebar click on account information
- Click the Verify Address link
- Request for new AdSense pin at the bottom of the page
Remember: the first pin sent to you is doubled on all of the pins sent. So you can use the first pin to check your address even after requesting the new pin.
Due to the location, you may not receive AdSence pin even after reapplying for the AdSense pin, especially if you are living in the remote part of your country. I heard reports of many such incidents myself and began searching for alternative methods of verification of AdSense addresses.
According to AdSense Help, the user receives AdSense verification pin when maximum 3 attempts are made. You may have the opportunity to verify your account by uploading a government-approved identity card, if you have requested a maximum of 3 PINs and received no PIN within 4 weeks of your last PIN application.
You can use your Aadhar Card or your passport for Indian users. Remember, when applying for AdSense accounts, the ID card you use should have your address indicated, which should be the same as you mentioned.
You can upload scanned copies of documents approved by the government for other countries. The bank statement, telephone bill for the same, can also be used. Use it to pass adsense pin woes when you have a passport.
Verify AdSense Account Address using Aadhar Card or International Passport
As I mentioned above, one ShoutMeLoud reader verified his account with Aadhar Card can check with any document and a couple of days ago.
Aadhaar is a 12-digit individual number issued on behalf of the Government of India by the Unique Identification Authority of India. This is a proof of identity and address in all parts of India. This is the look of the Aadhar card:
When you don’t have it, I suggest that you get it done as an excellent Indian Government initiative to centralise identification processes, follow the instructions here to obtain it yourself.
The adhar card can now be used for bank, hotel, embassy and Google AdSense verification! You can use that to verify the Google AdSense pin instead if you have an international passport.
Simple steps to verify AdSense account using Aadhar Card or other allowed document
You can use free mobile apps like Scannable to do the same with ease. Save this scanned file in the form of a PDF document!
Now, follow these steps:
- Go to your AdSense account. Log into the dashboard.
- Go to the section of ID verification
- Fill out the form, giving all the authentic details.
- Keep your publisher ID handy as you will need to fill that in.
- You will find an option below to verify your account through documentation instead of the PIN
- Click on the upload document and then upload the PDF file.
- Click the submit button
Following this, only the AdSense team needs to wait to answer. It takes up to thirty minutes. Your account will be verified and you will have full access to your profit and you will be paid once you reach the payment threshold.
I understand that it is an awkward time to wait for an AdSense pin, because you start believing in online money when you see your very first few dollars on your account and can’t wait to have it.
All I can say here is to be patient, and in a few months, either AdSense pin or other methods that I shared above will be checked for your account.
