It can take a while to find the hidden supplies in Far Cry 6’s “The Long Drop” Treasure Hunt. While punching buttons and pulling switches may help you in other Far Cry 6 Treasure Hunts, it won’t help you much here.’
“The Long Drop” takes place at a dam in La Joya sub-region. Dani can either warp to one of the surrounding Checkpoints and Air Drop, or they can travel by land.
Read the note in the orange box by following the purple Treasure Hunt icon. The supplies kept in the door adjacent to it, but it locked, as gamers may have guessed. The bridge’s sluices, however, are broken, thus players will have to use their grappling hook to cross it.

Someone will be clinging to the building on the other side of the dam, pleading for aid. A man seen hanging from the shattered boardwalk by the players. Since he’s an NPC who’s supposed to die, don’t try to save him. Fortunately, Dani only requires their key, which is conveniently dangling from one of the grappling hook cords. Dani carried up in the currents and have to trek back up to the dam if you reach for him now.
Reach the building using the grapplehook. This entrance also locked, so climb to the top of the building and jump to the other side. Look through the barred window and shot the door’s lock. Players can now enter the building after climbing back over.
There’s an alarm here, so destroy that. If Dani goes to the control room, they can find a note detailing the order of switches that need triggering.

- #4 Switch is back in the control room where the note was.
If this done right, the dam should close. If any switch pressed out of order, start over.
Return to the man and wrestle him down so Dani may get his key. Return to the original building by climbing back up. To obtain the rewards, use the key. Take advantage of any resources or materials that may be lying about. The Excavation Execution shotgun, one of Far Cry 6’s unique weapons, is the main prize for completing this Treasure Hunt.
