After selecting the proper camera angle. One can aim their ball in the desired direction while keeping an eye on the power metre. As its power rises and falls, players select the point at which they want it to stop and then execute their stroke. There’s no need to be concerned about a three-click metre like in Everybody’s Golf or a two-click system like in Mario Golf: Super Rush is a straightforward system. Sounds simple enough, doesn’t it?
Each ball feels like a lead weight, barely there.
There are various fields at various levels that have magnetic properties, increased friction, or a constant force in a different direction.
Unfortunately, they do little to break up the title’s overall monotony. Unlike those who visit their local Scandia or Golfland (Californians are familiar with these places), there are fewer obstacles to overcome. While it would have been cool to see a massive castle, windmill, or dragon appear.
In Arcade Mode, each hole requires players to collect a certain number of diamonds before sinking their shot.
Aside from the main Arcade Mode, players can also explore Quick Play, which has no additional rules, High Score, which focuses on maintaining less time and fewer shots, a turn-based Hot Seat mode, and a Race mode, which has people playing speed golf. The course limits one’s options.
You’d think a minigolf game would have a good physics system, but Minigolf Adventure makes every ball feel like a lead weight. It’s simply not enjoyable to play, and no amount of variety will change its fundamental flaws.
