Minecraft Live 2021 Mob Vote – Glare vs Allay vs Copper Golem.Mojang has, as is customary, put the new mob addition for the next update to a vote. Last year, we witnessed a three-way battle between the Glow Squid, Iceologer, and Moobloom, with the first one emerging victorious. The competition will be even tougher this year, with three even better mobs: Glare vs. Allay vs. Copper Golem. In this article, we will discuss all three mobs, as well as their advantages and disadvantages.

Glare
In the upcoming Caves & Cliff update 2, the Minecraft mob Glare would be a useful companion to have when exploring dark places. It throws a fit when you enter a dark enough area where monsters can spawn.
This feature, however, is completely useless for Java players. They only need to press the F3 function key to access the debug menu and examine the light source data. This allows them to determine whether or not an area is sufficiently dark for monsters to spawn… without the need for Glare. This mob may appeal to Bedrock players.
Allay
Allay would be an excellent addition to your automation process. If you give it an item, it will go off and find matching ones for you. Furthermore, the Allay enjoys music, so they’d place the item they’d gathered near a note block.
This is without a doubt the best Minecraft companion one could ask for. You can create a network of allays using note blocks and pick-up stations to transport items directly from farms through the air. They can also sort previously unsortable items… thanks to their ability to pick up unstackable items such as armour, tools, and weapons.

The Copper Golem
The only one of the three that you can make yourself is the Minecraft Mob Copper Gollem. However, once created, it must remain mobile in order to avoid oxidising and turning into a statue.
The copper golem’s final characteristic is that it enjoys randomly pressing any copper buttons it comes across. If this mob wins, this item will be added to the game as well.
Copper Golems will aid in the control of Redstone contraptions. They will add a true RNG feature to Minecraft, as the buttons it presses will be at random.
Which of the following should you choose: Glare, Allay, or Copper Golem?
While all three mobs are useful in their own way, the main battle would most likely be between the Allay and the Copper Golem. The Glare is effectively useless to half of the player base, which is a major design flaw.
While the Copper Golems are easier to use and craft, the Allays’ air-drone network has promise as well. The Copper Golem’s fatal flaw of oxidising, on the other hand, is rather annoying… while the Allay can keep their work going indefinitely.
