Pokemon Go Secrets of the Jungle Event Field Research Tasks

Trainers will be able to obtain Secrets of the Jungle-themed Field Research in addition to the Special Research storey by spinning PokeStops during the event window.

The official Pokemon Go blog did provide some insight into what trainers can expect when completing some of these tasks. Trainers can earn encounters with Audino, Rufflet, and other Pokemon, according to the blog. This event also confirms the addition of Shiny Rufflet to Pokemon Go. So keep spinning those PokeStops in the hopes of adding this unique variant to your collection.

The Pokemon You Can Catch During the Secrets of the Jungle Event

When the Secrets of the Jungle event begins on October 1, the types of Pokemon that will appear in the overworld, Raids, and other features will change. As you might expect, the Pokemon species that appear will have played a role in the animated film.

Hoothoot, Combee, Drilbur, Cottonee, Dwebble, and other characters will be appearing more frequently, according to the official blog. Larvitar will also appear in the wild on rare occasions during the event.

Explorer Pikachu, another of Pokemon Go’s special outfit Pikachu, will also appear in the wild. During the event, lucky trainers may even come across a Shiny Explorer Pikachu.

Explorer Pikachu, Larvitar, Roggenrola, Foongus, and Rufflet will all appear in one-star Raids. Trainers have a small chance of encountering a Shiny Rufflet and Explorer Pikachu in these Raids, just like they do in the overworld.

During this special event, Lickitung, Chansey, Pinsir, Ludicolo, and Flygon will appear in three-star Raids.

Jessie and James Reappear

The two most well-known Team Rocket members are set to return during the Secrets of the Jungle event. Trainers, like the rest of Team Go Rocket, will see the famous Meowth balloon in the overworld on a daily basis. Both trainers will remain in the Pokemon Go event after the event concludes.

It’s unclear whether Jessie and James’ teams will change, but here’s what we know about them from their last appearance in Pokemon Go:
