Within the castle, to the right of a big door that opens to the outdoors, is where you’ll find the Bell Tower Courtyard Floo Flame. The dragon statue found by following the instructions below or by watching our video once players have reached the fast travel location.
- Go up the stairway on the right while facing the Floo Flame.
- Instead of turning left up the next flight of stairs, enter the door and proceed through the hallway.
- Go downstairs and enter the room through the door on the right.
Turn left and descend the steps by taking a right. - The dragon will on the player’s left as they continue to descend.
- Using the left d-pad button will invoke the Revelio spell, bringing up the Field Guide Page.

The dragon’s Field Guide Page says the following: “Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus, the school’s motto, translates as “Never Tease a Sleeping Dragon.” Thankfully, the stone construction of this particular sleeping dragon ensures that it will never awaken. It may tickled to no effect at all.”

Access the Bell Tower Courtyard Floo Flames by opening the Map. On the map of Hogwarts, it is located in the Bell Tower Wing area. Once there, descend the stairs that are to your right of the Floo Flames station to access the Dungeons. If you are familiar with Hogwarts lore, you are aware that the Slytherin and Hufflepuff common rooms are also located there.
If you’re travelling to the floors below the castle, the route will be quite clear from this point on. There aren’t many opportunities to turn left or right along the road. You’ll reach the statue of the Sleeping Dragon if you continue down the steps.
