Blim City Chest Locations In High On Life. A player will need to be aware of the locations of the lugloxes if they want to finish High on Life in full. Treasure chests on High on Life are called lugloxes. They are immobile, sentient beings that only exist to be dissected by Knifey, the bounty hunter’s go-to knife, and then to have their insides collected.
It is somewhat gloomy, so forgive me if it sounds such. High on Life is excellent at using sarcastic twists on traditional role-playing aspects to provide a wholly original experience. It also succeeds at using tongue firmly planted in cheek with its world-building strategies. Finding lugloxes can be difficult, but with the appropriate eye and abilities, you can easily open these mystery boxes.
Requirement To Gather Lugloxes In Blim City
High on Life functions somewhat like a Metroidvania, therefore doubling back with new skills is an important aspect of its game design. It is therefore advised to gather lugloxes either along the way or all at once once all the talents have been attained.
As soon as the bounty hunter claims Knifey, some lugloxes are right at ground level and ready for the taking. Others are even difficult since only the complete armament can get past the obstacles protecting them. It is advised to have finished the game completely or at least have obtained all four Gatlians, the jetpack, and the gravity boots in order to claim all the lugloxes in Blim City.
Blim City’s Lugloxes
The luglox that found in Blim City listed here. There are a total of fifteen of them.
When the player first leaves the house, there is a visible luglox directly in front of them. A luglox perched next to a lamppost just before the spot where Gene spotted sitting on the bench.
The player may see a sign that advertises the former top bounty hunter Gene Zaroothian right after leaving the previous luglox. This red building next to the sign has a luglox atop it. Grab the luglox on the right side by climbing to the top with the jetpack.
Take a right to the region that appears to surrounded by warning guard rails from the home base (or the crater where the home formerly was, depending on how far the player has progressed in the game). A luglox can found next to an alien who looks to using the restroom in a small garage alcove just left before you reach these yellow bars.
Turn around now and leave this tiny garage area. Continue on past the guard rail until you see a sign that almost says “Little Italy” but uses a play on words instead. Enter this restaurant by going under the flag. Another small garage space sealed up, but you can see a luglox’s ears through the glass there. Utilize Creature, then use one of his young to fire into the pipe entrance near to the garage housing the luglox.
Now we’re going to need the jetpack. Turn left at the small shack/UFO-looking structure after leaving the house’s front door. On top of it is the luglox. Just use a jetpack to ascend to the top to claim your prize.
Leaving the home, turn right. There is a passageway that leads to a building with a ceramic extraterrestrial that resembles a dinosaur on top. A luglox situated at ground level just around the right side of this building.
On the left, there is a small staircase that ascends to a narrow route above the spot where the player first arrived. The dinosaur ought to be at the player’s back at this point because this path travels parallel to the aforementioned entryway.
The faint green splotch that indicates a glob shot used to blow it open seen on the right side of this passageway. Once it’s open, change to Creature and fire one of his kids into the space. A garage door will then open in the direction of the staircase. The luglox is waiting inside.
Turning right from that previous luglox, you will see the square platforms with the red colour. These utilised in conjunction with Gus’ razor-blade skill. Shoot the blades to climb this wall and platform. Just to the left, the luglox is within jumping and dodging distance.
Another luglox seen sitting on top of a red bridge structure past the dinosaur from this vantage point above this area of the city. Use the jetpack to get there, or use Gus and the dodge boost to platform your way there and collect the luglox.
There is a blue building with giant eyes that watch the area back in the heart of Blim City. There’s a luglox up there, but you have to do some platforming to get to it. Locate the pawnshop’s spiral staircase and climb it. A hookbug is located above this staircase. Grab hold of it and propel yourself toward the hookbug that is slightly higher and facing the Blim City Center.

There are a few latch points that build up to this. Just keep avoiding them and jump to the platform right behind the protruding eyes utilising the jetpack and the bugs. There, waiting, is the luglox.

A luglox positioned in a muddle directly behind Blorto stall in the middle of Blim City (where the player can buy warp discs).
One of the harder to obtain luglox is this one right after that. Turn left and proceed in the direction of the wall behind the light post from the area behind Blorto’s. A silver wall above indicates where the gravity boots fastened.

Lean against the wall by using the jetpack and latching on. then, platform up to the top of the structure on your left using the jetpack. This building has a pipe on top with a fan inside of it. Sweezy used to slow the fan so you can enter. A second fan needs to slowed down as well. Find the luglox within by dropping all the way in. To leave, use the red button on the left.
Platform up to the roof of the building using the same method. This time, instead of dropping in, glance up at the building above, where a ceramic extraterrestrial is wearing a crown. To reach the peak of the crown, use the jetpack.
