They seem to connected to a strange door you may locate in the Seraph’s Shield quest on the orbital station. And they can only destroyed by shooting them with the new exotic pulse weapon, Revision Zero.
You will given the option to select an upgrade at of each week that will aid you in Seraph’s Shield by enabling you to walk through lasers or open security doors. I would absolutely prioritise the security doors because lasers can defeated with an eager edge sword.
Naturally, you will require the new exotic weapon Revision Zero(opens in new tab). Therefore you must finish the Seraph’s Shield mission in order to gain entrance to that enigmatic door. Where To Find All Security Drone locations In Destiny 2
Archers Line: To find the orb, climb up onto the area’s damaged pipeline and follow it until it intersects with a structure to the north.
- K1 Logistics lost sector: At the end of the lost sector, to the side of the boss arena.
- Anchor of Light: Near the location of the public Fallen tank event, by the entrance of the crashed Ketch.
- Anchor of Light: To the northwest of the region, at the base of the structure’s radio antenna.
- Hellmouth: Outside the K1 Crew Quarters lost sector, on top of the radio antenna.
- K1 Crew Quarters Lost Sector: By the tracer shanks on the other side of the large gap you must jump across, just before the boss.
- Hellmouth: The area outside the Hellmouth’s actual entrance. Head straight up onto the high cliff where Toland (a ball of light) is hovering when you enter the area from Anchor of Light. You should be able to see the drone if you look to the right side of the pit.
- Sorrow’s Harbor: Located inside the northern castle, immediately above the crystal and barrier that you descend through to enter the Pit of Heresy dungeon.
- Sorrow’s Harbor: Near the tiny red spire in the southwest corner of Sorrow’s Harbor.
- K1 Revelation lost sector: Immediately following the shrieker’s death. Hop over to the platform adjacent to it and gaze straight ahead to spot it hidden behind a fence.

DRONE SECURITY LOCATIONS IN EUROPE
On the Europa, there are eleven Security Drone sites. Here are the locations of each:
- Beyond: On top of the shadowy building to the south, staring down towards the pyramid.
- Cadmus Ridge: Look up toward the enormous Vex structures as you enter the heart of Cadmus Ridge from Charon’s Crossing to spot the yellow drone.
- Cadmus Ridge: Located to the left of Bray Exoscience’s main entrance.
- Perdition Lost Sector: After you beat the Minotaur boss at the conclusion
- Asterion Abyss: As you approach the Vex constructions on the west side of the area. Keep an eye out for a drone perched on a ledge above where they meet the cliff.
- Asterion Abyss: This drone hidden beneath the open area of ice in the northwest corner of Asterion Abyss. Where you may see the remnants of the Eventide colony across the way.
- Concealed Void Lost Sector: After entering the large space containing platforms. Radiolaria fluid, and shanks, leap down to the platform to the left. There, beside the Fallen console, you’ll find a drone wedged between two beams.
- Eventide Ruins: Inside the structure where Bunker E15’s missing sector entrance is located. Climb the platforms to the left and you’ll find this drone stashed away in a corner.
- Eventide Ruins: In the red-lit structure inside the ruins, near to the enormous hatch.
- Bunker E15 Lost Sector: Look through the window into the room with the security frames and you should be able to spot the drone hidden on the left side. Just before you reach the large room with the three security frame prisons.
THE LOCATION OF HEIST BATTLEGROUNDS SECURITY DRONE
Each Heist Battlegrounds activity requires six Security Drones. Therefore there are six on the Moon, six on Europa, and six on Mars. Due of their mid-activity, these are a little more difficult to obtain. But this fantastic guide by Skarrow9 details the precise locations of all three sets.
DRONES OF SERAPH’S SHIELD SECURITY
The Seraph’s Shield assignment requires the destruction of twelve drones. Eleven of them are hidden behind security doors marked with a circle and star sign. Or behind laser grids that are simple to find. If you don’t yet have the improvement that halves their damage. The former can avoided using an eager edge sword, whilst the security doors need an upgrade to open.
Activate a door or console to cause three symbols to appear all over the area once you’ve obtained the door upgrade from the Exo frame in the HELM. Before the time limit expires, you must shoot these in the proper order. By identifying the highlighted symbol and placing it, you may determine the order. The original will alter as you shoot one, giving you a new one to search for. Do all three, and a security drone revealed when the door opens.
