Kojima Death Stranding Interview. The game designer revealed on Thursday that director Hideo Kojima has joined forces with Hammerstone Studios. Led by executive producer Alex Lebovici.
According to Deadline, Kojima and Lebovici will produce the movie through their own banners with Kojima Productions US and Allan Ungar serving as executive producers. Hammerstone will provide the movie’s entire funding.

This will be a far more personal and grounded adaptation of a video game than other high-profile, big-budget movies. With creative and aesthetic flexibility, we want to reimagine what a video game adaptation can be. This movie is a true “Hideo Kojima” creation.
2019 saw the PS4 release of Death Stranding. It’s unknown if any of the cast members—Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux. Guillermo del Toro, and Margaret Qualley—will return for the movie version.
Kojima attended The Game Awards last week, where the first Death Stranding 2 trailer debuted.
Léa Seydoux, who portrayed the character Fragile in the previous game. Is featured in the sequel’s trailer, which Sony will distribute.
Troy Baker will also star, and it also states that Norman Reedus will return.
