Rajesh Damale, a family friend of Vikram Gokhale, said to IndiaToday.in, “His health has deteriorated drastically over the past 24 hours. The medical staff is making every effort. He has been struggling for the past 24 hours. Failure of multiple organs has documented. As soon as there is a change in his health, we will let you know. He is not responding to the medications as the physicians had anticipated. The physicians are working very hard to revive him, nevertheless.”
Vikram Gokhale’s health described in an official statement from the Dinanath Mangeshkar Hospital as follows: “This is the official press release from the hospital following a meeting between Mr. Vikram Gokhale’s family and the medical staff at 10 a.m. Noted Mr. Vikram Gokhale, an actor, is receiving ventilator support. He is receiving care in a critical care unit and is still very much alive. He given every chance to recuperate. Not fully unconscious or unresponsive, despite reports to the contrary. His health status will updated as needed (sic).”
