How To Get To Dragon Isles In WOW. There are many lovely areas to visit in World of Warcraft, but the Dragon Isles stand out. If you haven’t yet completed them, they are a part of the Dragonflight expansion and are worth checking out.
However, getting to them can be a little complicated at first, especially if you haven’t done anything in Dragonflight yet. I’ve put together this handbook for both factions to assist you as you begin your journey through the Dragon Isles.

How To Get To Dragon Isles In WOW
Here is information on how to reach the Dragon Isles in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, including directions from Stormwind and Orgrimmar.
Before beginning
You must have Dragonflight, be at least level 58. And have purchased it in order to travel to the Dragon Isles. You won’t be able to access the Dragon Isles or any other Dragonflight content if you haven’t fulfilled these prerequisites.
If this is your first time entering Dragonflight, it’s a good idea to check your HUD and the addons you’re using before you enter to make sure you’re ready for the upcoming expansion.

How to Travel From Stormwind to the Dragon Isles
You must have successfully completed the quest The Dragon Isles Await in order to travel to the Dragon Isles from Stormwind. You’ll see this quest when you check in.
In order to find out more about the Aspect’s Invitation to the Alliance. You must see Wrathion and Turalyon in Stormwind Keep. The exposition basically tells you what happened between the Shadowlands tale and the present day in World of Warcraft.
You must next finish The Obsidian Warders, Expeditionary Coordination, and Aspectral Invitation. Delivering orders and gathering crew members for the expedition to the Dragon Isles are the simple objectives of these tasks.
You must then finish Whisper on the Winds, talk to Khadgar in Stormwind, finish Chasing Storms, and then talk to William the Storm Hunter.
When this quest line is complete, you will receive the quest and be allowed to board the Rugged Dragonscale, which will transport you there.
Make sure you board the appropriate vessel. It’s simple to mix up the wharf where the Rugged Dragonscale departs from with that of the boat to Boralus.
Simply return to the docks if you’ve been and want to visit there again without utilizing a Mage portal or Hearthstone. If you need to know the location of the boat immediately, check with the dock master.
How to Travel From Orgrimmar
You must complete the quest Await in order to go to from Orgrimmar. You’ll see this quest when you check in.
Embyssian must be met in Orgrimmar for this. Everything pertaining to the period between the Shadowlands and the current WoW will be covered.
After that, you must complete the quests Expeditionary Coordination, The Dark Talons, and Aspectral Invitation. This is essentially a continuation of the Alliance quest line mentioned above. And it will also have you passing along commands and recruiting team members.
After that, you must finish Whispers on the Winds and speak to Khadgar. After which you must talk to Storm Hunter Suhrakka on the zeppelin tower outside of Orgrimmar to complete Chasing Storms.
Once this is complete, you will receive the quest “To the Dragon Isles!”. And be able to board the Defiant Dragonscale, the zeppelin that will transport you there. Before you board, make sure the zeppelin is the right one.
