But that’s going to change, as the firm just tweeted about a brand-new Nintendo Direct that would only feature upcoming Nintendo 3DS games. At 7 a.m. Pacific Time on September 1, the broadcast will take place.

There hasn’t been a formal announcement about the games we might see during the Direct, but there are undoubtedly a handful that we can count on. We might hear about DLC for Metroid Prime: Federation Force or see some sort of push for it given its recent release. Additionally, the company’s new IP Ever Oasis, which was unveiled at E3. And Yo-Kai Watch 2 will also launch at the end of September.
Along with that, Pokemon Sun and Moon’s impending release will surely be a major topic of discussion during the broadcast. You can view every new Pokemon that has revealed so far here. There has been a steady stream of announcements for the new games. Hopefully the 3DS will also receive a few new announcements.
