Getting your hands on more expensive Evolution stones makes sense because Pokemon Scarlet and Violet contain a lot of odd (and occasionally arbitrarily) challenging evolution techniques. However, you’ll need to locate one if you wish to evolve your Murkrow or Misdreavus by yourself. Three choices are open to you.

The first choice is to visit one of the fixed places where these elemental stones are located. There are two open positions. Montenevera’s first Dusk Stone can be found right behind the gym. A Dusk Stone makes sense in a Ghost Gym, of course!
In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, where Can I Find Every Guaranteed Dusk Stone?
Finding the second spot is a little more challenging. Start from Medali West and move south in the direction of the mountain-climbing track. A Dusk Stone can be found behind the mountain wall as you continue on this path until you enter West Province (Area One), just outside of Cascarrafa.
Finding a Dusk Stone on the ground is the second option. This choice is really hit or miss. I chose one at random, but I have no idea from where, and I wouldn’t rely on this approach.
A Dusk Stone can be purchased in Porto Marinada as a third alternative. Due to the fact that there are only four market stalls and each sells four items daily, this option is not instantly assured. But someday a Dusk Stone will show up here. You can soft reset until you receive the desired item to increase your chances.
It’s important to note that all Pokemon listed in the Paldean Pokedex who evolve using a Dusk Stone are captureable in the wild. However, Mismagius and Honchkrow can be found in Paldea’s northern region or, alternatively, in the fields near Alfornada.
