Where To Find The All Gordo Slimes In Slime Rancher 2. Slime Rancher 2 is a lively independent game that players may explore while reclined. There are slimes, resources, and regions to explore, all of which contain mysteries and surprises, much as in the original game. The gamers must find Gordo Slimes in order to access these riches.
In the sequel, Beatrix LaBeau reappears and discovers herself in a new country named Rainbow Island. There are three major regions on the island: Rainbow Fields, Starlight Strand, and Ember Valley. Every location has its own unique natural resources, minerals, and slime species, including Gordo slimes, that have evolved there. Gordo slimes are a collection of immobile slimes from the same species that have fused together. They are dispersed and concealed over the large island, but feeding them till they explode leads to new locations and discoveries. The locations of Gordo slime in Slime Rancher 2 are shown here.
Table of Contents
Colorful Fields
When slime ranchers arrive to Rainbow Island, they first get to explore Rainbow Fields. Pink, Cotton, Phosphor, and Tabby slimes reside there, along with other grassy plain creatures. Additionally, ranchers sleep there, keep slimes there, sell plorts there, and the Conservatory is headquartered there. There are three Gordo slimes in this area:
- Pink
- Cotton
- Phosphor
Pink Gordo
In order to reach Ember Valley, the Pink Gordo is a crucial slime. Ranchers should leave the Conservatory and go west. To feed it, be careful to collect food along the road. Ranchers should not be concerned about the diet of pink slimes since they will consume everything. It may be located on Rainbow Fields’ western side.
When ranchers feed it more than 30 different types of food, it explodes and a geyser that launches players down a cliff appears. There will be a portal activation switch for Ember Valley if you go down the cliff route.
Gordo Cotton
The Cotton Gordo is another Gordo that is linked to a portal. One of the brand-new kinds of slimes in Slime Rancher 2 is the cotton slime. Their ears and preference for veggies are two characteristics they have in common with rabbits. Carrots are widely available, but water lettuce is also available in certain places, although less often.
Ranchers may go west after obtaining Veggies until they come upon a Refinery Link, a tiny grey device with a porthole. The Cotton Gordo is at the top of a hill if you keep going south of the link. Once it explodes, a cave’s entrance is made visible, and the player is then sent to Starlight Strand by another portal activation switch.

Gordo Phosphor
The Phosphor Gordo is the last Gordo to be discovered in Rainbow Fields. This nocturnal creature is concealed in a cave on the island since phosphor slimes can only thrive at night. Find some Pogofruits or Cuberries to feed it as it only eats fruit.
The Conservatory and the Phosphor Gordo are quite near together. Leave via the southwest gate and go to the shore. The Gordo is positioned within a little gap between several nearby boulders. The players will discover a Treasure Chest after it bursts.
Starlight Strand
Starlight Strand is a stunning paradise with two colours. The sea cuts it in two; one side is coloured blue and the other crimson. The Rock, Hunter, Honey, Angler, Flutter, and Ringtail slimes are endemic to the region, although additional species may also be discovered. Due to its proximity to the ocean, the region is home to certain unique resources. The Gordo slimes in Starlight Strand are as follows:
- Honey
- Hunter
- Ringtail
- Angler
- Flutter
Gordo Honey
The Honey Gordo is most likely the first one that gamers will run against. The plorts of honey slimes, which are scrumptious critters, attract swarms of other slimes. The three-sided honeycomb on their forehead serves as a distinctive feature of them.
The Honey Gordo is located south of the entrance portal, on the other side of a waterfall. It just consumes Fruits, so be prepared for two Treasure Pods and shortcut Doors that players may unlock with plorts are concealed behind it.
Hunter Gordo
Hunter slimes are tenacious cat slimes that are excellent at disguising themselves. Players need to get Meat to feed the Gordo since they are carnivorous. When they are prepared, they may go further into Starlight Strand.
When you reach a big set of closed doors, go south. Then, players will discover a clear trail leading over the hill and in the direction of the Hunter Gordo. In front of a treasure chest and another door, this Gordo is seated.
Angler Gordo
The Angler slime is yet another meat-eater. They are modelled like anglerfish and feature an antenna on their head with a shining light hanging from it. While hypnotising its victim, this light also has the power to paralyse other slimes, even other Anglers.
The southeast beach is where you’ll find The Angler Gordo. When ranchers reach the shore, they will discover a cave with Angler Gordo inside, perched atop a geyser that enables them to ascend more quickly.

Gordo the Ringtail
A distinctive breed is the Ringtail slime. They will consume any food, just like pink slimes. These slimes, however, are only active at night since sunlight causes them to become stone. This applies to all gordos, including the Ringtail Gordo, thus players can only find it and feed it at night.
On the south side of the island, it is extremely near to the Angler Gordo. The Ringtail Gordo may be found on a stone bridge that can be reached by following a river. Players may access a second gateway to Rainbow Fields if they have fed it enough Meat to cause it to erupt.
Flutter Gordo
Butterfly slimes called Flutter are gorgeous. However, since they exclusively consume Moondew Nectar, they have what is perhaps the most difficult diet to follow. Near the Flutter Gordo, moondew nectar may be seen growing from blossoms on top of trees. Sadly, it only blooms at night, and players’ Vacpacks need to have the Resource Harvester improvement.
The southernmost portion of the pink side of Starlight Strand, nearly exactly where the two sides connect, is where you may find the Flutter Gordo. When this slime is destroyed, a research drone and a teleporter that sends herders straight to Starlight Strand through the warp network are revealed.

Ember Valley
A volcano is in the centre of the geyser-filled region known as Ember Valley. While uncommon materials and slimes may be found, exploring the lava-filled caverns is risky. Ranchers will have to enter the volcano, though, if they want to view the uncommon Gordo slimes. The Gordo slimes in Ember Valley look like this:
- Crystal
- Boom
- Batty
- Tabby
- Rock
Crystal Gordo
Blue crystals are attached to the dazzling, spiky Crystal Gordos. As they roll about, they scatter dangerous crystals over the ground. Players should eat a lot of veggies since this species is also a vegetarian.
The Crystal Gordo is situated next to the lake on the northwest part of the island. It is perched on a detour that leads users back to where they came from.
Tabby Gordo
Although tabby slimes are common over Rainbow Island, the Gordo is virtually distinct from the others. Players may discover a large pillar off Ember Valley that protrudes out of the water if they keep heading north. The Gordo is perched directly above the pillar. To make accessing it easier, players need get the Jetpack upgrade.
Hen Hens and Roostros are the ideal animals to feed Tabby Gordos since they consume meat. Players may access a doorway to Rainbow Fields after it bursts.
Gordo Boom
When dealing with Boom slimes, tread cautiously. They are formed of lava and have a propensity to blow up, damaging anything in their path. Additionally, many slimes, including Gordo, consume meat.
The island’s westernmost Gordo is situated close to the volcano’s base. Due to the proximity of other Boom slimes and the fact that when it bursts, it creates more normal Boom slimes, ranchers must exercise caution. It is positioned in front of a cave that has two Treasure Pods and a Research Drone.
Batty Gordo
One of the most difficult Gordos to get is the Batty Gordo. Batty slimes are slimes that resemble bats and are found in the caverns of Ember Valley. Although they can survive in the sun, they don’t perform well in it and will become hungry more quickly. They consume Fruit, much like certain species of bat.
On the southwest part of the island, the Batty Gordo hides in the depths of the caverns. Boom slimes and lava pits that alternate between stone and lava are present throughout the caverns, making them hazardous. But letting this Gordo erupt makes a volcanic shortcut accessible.
Rock Gordo
Both Starlight Strand and Ember Valley have rock slimes. They eat vegetables and are blue with spikes on their bodies. They may be difficult to approach since they harm players upon touch. Finding the Rock Gordo is also difficult.
It is located rather close to the gateway leading to Ember Valley. Next, go west to the cave network close to one of the hazardous spots. A doorway inside needs boom plorts to open it. A other approach is to climb the cliffs and enter the cave from above, although it is a difficult task. The Rock Gordo is finally located beyond those doors, perched atop a geyser that leads to a Treasure pod.
