Who Is Azem In FFXIV. Azem is the most enigmatic and conceivably most significant Ascian in Final Fantasy XIV due to his connections to the Warrior of Light and other realms.
The Ascians were an enigmatic race in Final Fantasy XIV’s realm for a long time. All that the gamers knew about them was their desire to wreck havoc in the Source. Their objectives and identities not made public until Shadowbringers and subsequently Endwalker. However, we still don’t fully understand who they are as people. Some of them and who they were in the past have exposed to players, but not all of them. Lahabrea, a well-known Ascian, may get more explanation with the 6.2 patch, but players appear to be more intrigued by Azem, a mysterious Ascian.
Who Is Azem In FFXIV
As one of the more powerful Ascians, Azem joined other prominent Ascians like Emet-Selch and Elidibus at the Convocation of Fourteen. Azem, in contrast to them, perished in the Sundering, and their soul divided as a result of not joining the others in the creation of Zodiark in the Final Days. The Warrior of Light Azem reincarnated, or at least possesses a portion of their soul, as was shown in Endwalker.
For gamers, this was a significant realisation that connects into other Source lore. In contrast to the other Ascians, there wasn’t much information available about Azem after they passed away. Azem reported to an adventurous person who frequently travelled, learned more about the world, and assisted its inhabitants.

Additionally, they were close to Venat, the former Azem who later changed her name to Hydaelyn. But because they frequently acted without consulting them and occasionally against their better judgement, their Convocation counterparts regarded them as a nuisance. If Emet-Selch hadn’t secretly stored their memories, Zodiark and Hydaelyn would have almost lost in the Sundering because of this.
There are more hints concerning these truths elsewhere, even though they given during the Main Scenario tasks. The player visits the Azim Steppe, a location with its own lore, during Stormblood. The legend of the Dawn Father Azim and the Dusk Mother Nhaama told among the locals. Despite the fact that the story is about two lovers, it may be a retelling of the friendship between Azem and Venat since they shared the same seat but not at the same time.
The Sundering, which broke Azem’s soul, is another issue. On the First, Ardbert, a second Warrior of Light, has already encountered by players. There could very well be other people representing Azem on other worlds. Azem’s soul may contained in further mythology about what transpired if the Thirteenth appears in FFXIV’s upcoming tale. There will be a lot in patch 6.2, and the plot is moving toward some intriguing mythology about what will happen to other worlds. It might be paving the way for other significant Azem findings.
