All Dendro Reactions In Genshin Impact. Dendro reactions, which include Burning, Blooming, Hyperblooming, Burgeoning, Quickening, Aggravating, and Spreading, are all explained in terms of mechanics and math in terms of genshin impact.
In Genshin Impact, Pyro, Electro, Cryo, Hydro, Geo, Anemo, and Dendro are the seven distinct elements. Dendro, however, was the least intriguing before Genshin Impact 3.0, with only the Burning reaction being offered.
HoYoverse has no choice but to release Dendro characters at the same time as Sumeru at this point. After all, the Dendro Archon was going to show up soon. More Dendro Elemental reactions now exist as a result of the release of Dendro characters.
Genshin Impact travellers must become accustomed to a variety of unusual mechanics, so this article will describe in detail how each Dendro reaction functions in Genshin Impact.

How Does Genshin Impact’s Burning Operate?
- To Start Burning, Use Pyro + Dendro
- Damage from Burning: Pyro
- Burning has a crit? No
When Dendro and Pyro interact in Genshin Impact, the Burning Elemental reaction occurs. As long as this aura is present, the enemy is subject to Pyro aura and takes minor damage.
At level 90 and 0 Elemental Mastery, one instance of Burning DoT will cause 361 damage due to the damage multiplier of 0.25x. Then the enemy’s resistance and the trigger’s Elemental Mastery bonus will have an impact on this 361 attack. For instance, a Burning response on a Hilichurl will cause 325 damage rather than 361, as it has 10% Pyro RES.
The Burning reaction can be used to set up additional reactions like Vaporize and Melt because the enemy will maintain Pyro aura. However, keep in mind that the Burning damage will vanish if the Pyro aura is utilised for the aforementioned reactions.
According to this rough estimate, the Burning response will cause 90 level characters in total damage.
What Is The Process Of Bloom In Genshin Impact?
- How To Trigger Bloom: Dendro + Hydro
- Bloom Damage Type: Dendro
- Does Bloom crit? No
Hydro and Dendro coming together causes Bloom in Genshin Impact. Some Dendro Cores will fall to the ground as a result of this. It will take these seeds about six seconds to detonate.
Keep in mind that if players are within the AoE of a Dendro Core when it bursts, the active character will take damage. However, there will be a huge reduction in the amount of damage.
With a 2x multiplier, Bloom deals damage equal to that of Overloaded. Therefore, a level 90 character with no Elemental Mastery will inflict 2603 damage on a Hilichurl. The base damage at various Elemental Mastery levels looks like this:
How Does Genshin Impact’s Hyperbloom Operate?
- How to Initiate Hyperbloom: Electro + Bloom
- Damage Type for Hyperbloom: Dendro
- Hyperbloom has a crit? No
Hyperbloom is the second stage reaction after Bloom. To trigger Hyperbloom, Genshin Impact players need to use Electro on generated Dendro Cores. This will cause the seed to fly toward the enemy, dealing single-target Dendro DMG.
Hyperbloom has a 3x multiplier, which means it deals higher damage than Bloom.
How Does Burgeon Work In Genshin Impact?
- How To Trigger Burgeon: Bloom + Pyro
- Burgeon Damage Type: Dendro
- Does Burgeon crit? No

Similar to Hyperbloom, Burgeon in Genshin Impact is also a second stage reaction after Bloom. This time, players need to use Pyro on the Dendro Cores. Doing so will cause the seeds to explode, dealing AoE Dendro DMG. Burgeon also has a 3x multiplier, so it deals the same damage as Hyperbloom.
How Does Quicken Work In Genshin Impact?
- Quickening Method: Dendro + Electro
- Quicken Damage Type: None
- Quicken has a crit? No. Quicken does not deal any damage in Genshin Impact.
Quicken does not cause harm in Genshin Impact, unlike the other Dendro Elemental reactions. Instead, the Dendro + Electro reaction’s first stage is this debuff.
The debuff allows players to trigger Aggravate and Spread for around 8 seconds without having to reapply Electro or Dendro in the process.
Note that the Quicken reaction will be removed upon contact with Hydro or Pyro, but it’s unaffected by Cryo, Anemo, or Geo. Hydro may leave a tiny space for Quicken to trigger, while Pyro just disrupts it completely.
How Does Aggravate Work In Genshin Impact?
- Aggravation Method: Quicken + Electro
- Type of Aggravate Damage: Electro
- Does aggrevate criticism? Yes
Players can then use Aggravate or Spread after triggering Quicken. In contrast to the other Dendro reactions, Aggravate and Spread in Genshin Impact are both crit-capable. Aggravate is triggered by Electro.
However, Aggravate and Spread have a more intricate methodology than Vaporize and Melt, which only augment a damage kind. These Dendro responses boost a character’s attack with a flat DMG bonus, much as Yun Jin and Shenhe’s Genshin Impact buffs.
Let’s take, as an illustration, a level 90 Yae Miko equipped with R1 Kagura’s Verity who has the following stats:
- 1900 ATK
- Elemental Mastery 100
- Critical Damage 200%
- Electro DMG Bonus at 58.6%
- skill level eight
On a level 90 Hilichurl, Yae Miko’s Skill normally deals 8154 Electro DMG. In contrast, she will deliver 14671 damage if the aggressor reacts. Consequently, the 100 EM gives about 6500 extra DMG (on a critical hit).
However, keep in mind that the Electro application still has an Internal Cooldown, thus not all skill hits will cause Aggravate to activate.
How Does Genshin Impact’s Spread Work?
- Quicken + Dendro: A Triggering Method
- Type of Spread Damage: Dendro
- Spread has crit? Yes
In contrast, when Dendro encounters an adversary who has the Quicken debuff, Spread in Genshin Impact takes place. Aggravate’s mechanic is similar to Spread’s, however Spread has a multiplier of 1.25x as opposed to 1.15x.
