I’ve received some feedback following yesterday’s post about Elden Ring and here’s some more details.
[0] Some people are experiencing issues with the game loading, I’m investigating this.
[1] It’s very difficult to track progress, because of the asynchronous nature of game play. However to get a rough estimate, here’s some pre-launch statistics:
– We shipped 500 keys in pre-order bonus 3 weeks ago. This means roughly 100 extra keys are out there, still waiting to be claimed by subscribers.
– Total subscribers as of this post: 115, one subscriber for every 5 keys sold.
– The average value of each key sold is about 200 euros (~$281).
That said, this is just the pre-launch period. The game is now available for purchase in all stores and numbers will likely rise, meaning more subscribers will join.
I’m feeling relieved to be able to provide such a precise number of subscribers for the game at this point and I’d like to ask for your patience. Also, I’ll be sure to keep the number of subscribers up to date in a future post.
