How To Defeat Grad In MGR. It can be challenging to defeat The GRAD in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance because several damage kinds don’t work on it.
GRAD is a Ukrainian Unmanned Gear and the Research Facility level boss of Chapter R-02 in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. It is well known for serving as both a mobile fort and a bunker. It appears later in the game as a sub-boss and shares a lot of similarities with Metal Gear REX in terms of design.

It is best to approach near to the GRAD and use light assaults to wear it down during the second part of the battle. Raiden will eventually prompted to remove the armour plates using Blade Mode. In this boss battle, EM Grenades can be highly helpful because they can stun the GRAD and give Raiden extra chances to hack at it. Stay tight if the boss moves away and avoid its missile assaults. When hacking at the boss, stay in front of it because this is the best position to parry if it melees you.
Once the armour plates are severed, the GRAD will dazed. Allowing Raiden to launch additional attacks without difficulty. The GRAD will eliminated following the second Blade Mode question. In the future, there will be more GRADS, but they won’t put up as much of a struggle.
