How To Unlock Smith IV In Vampire Survivors. Here’s how to unlock Smith IV, a character in Vampire Survivors who resembles Toastie and Exdash a great deal.
Exdash, a mysterious character, was the first, and it debuted with Ebony Wings. Later, Toastie was add to Vampire Survivors, and it starts out with Peachone, the antithesis of Ebony Wings. Many players were confident that there would eventually another hidden character. That utilizes Vandalier as their starting weapon and whose sprite is a palette swap of Toastie from Exdash.
Those players were correct, I suppose. Smith IV, one of the most recent characters in Vampire Survivors, starts out with a Vandalier. Exdash and Toastie are both ghost-like characters. While Smith IV has comparable passive bonuses—or, in Smith IV’s case, passive penalties.
Unlocking Smith IV
In Vampire Survivors, this character is not the most difficult to unlock. The player must enter a set of codes at predetermined periods rather than navigating. A stage in search of a coffin to open or eliminating a boss. The player must enter the word “spam” on the main menu before moving on to the character selection screen. At the character selection screen, type “spam” once more. Then, at the stage selection screen, type it once more. The player must input “humbug” when they step onto the stage.
When the first “spam” written, a 30-second countdown begins. Before the timer expires at the beginning of the stage, the player must type “humbug.” If all went according to plan, the player may exit the game and walk back to the character selection screen. Where they would still need to pay 7,777 gold to truly unlock Smith IV as a playable character.
Stats for Smith IV
It’s intriguing and difficult to employ Smith IV as a character. Even veteran Vampire Survivors players could struggle the first few times they try Smith IV to last for 30 minutes. This character has the following passive bonuses. The +10% Cooldown, +100% Luck, +20% MoveSpeed -50% Projectile Speed, and -10% Area, Duration, and Might.

Smith IV has a maximum health of 7, compared to an average starting health of 125 for most characters. In other words, the player must make every effort to avoid coming into contact with the enemy. Smith IV was at least give a +20% Move Speed to aid.
Use of Smith IV
The gamer should take full advantage of the +100% chance of luck. This requires obtaining the Clover passive item, which necessitates obtaining the Cross weapon as well. The greatest weapons to use with Smith IV are those that can provide critical hits. Knife, axe, whip, vento saccro, and heaven sword these weapons (evolved Cross). Smith IV should be successful with these weapons because critical hits scale with Luck. The Slash Arcana will strengthen this loadout even more.
Smith IV needs to kept alive after 20 minutes due to the Laurel’s low maximum health. Starting with Vandalier, the combined version of Ebony Wings and Peachone, Smith IV. This weapon has evolved, but until it reaches roughly level 4, it is still still moderately effective. Early on in the stage, get a secondary weapon that fires more directly; the Cross, Magic Wand. And Whip are all strong options for this.
