In many ways, Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise is exceptional. Fans will experience a sense of unease throughout the entire game thanks to the wide world, skateboarding protagonist, and minor horror aspects. However, the elements the protagonist must overcome to achieve some of these tasks make the genre unique as well.
This involves the need to maintain cleanliness. Such cleanliness is not required in the majority of games in this genre. Deadly Premonition 2 allows players to fail quests if York isn’t clean, but doing so can be expensive. Breaking the shower is extremely annoying because of this. Fortunately, there is a solution that will allow York to return to his pure state.

Take a Shower Break
In Deadly Premonition 2, York makes hardly any effort to break the shower. In fact, the hotel room shower is more likely to break after one or two uses, making it one of the early-game side tasks that players will encounter.
After a few days, York will start to smell, and it will cost players a lot of money to attempt and talk to anyone while smelling, thus it’s imperative that York works to fix the shower as soon as possible.
Concierge Consultation
It is worthwhile to go downstairs to the main lobby and locate the Concierge after the shower has broken. Anyone else York initially tries to discuss the issue with will be incredibly unhelpful.
Finding the Concierge is the biggest challenge that players will run into when attempting to speak with him. Players must really speak to him; summoning him by pressing the bell will only allow them to purchase items.
Instead of ringing the bell, it is advised that you wait for him to approach the desk before approaching him regarding the shower. This will continue the mission, but York will still end up having to fix it himself.
Arrive at the restaurant
It’s not technically York’s job to fix the shower, but it’s better to just take a shower than fight, the Concierge will say after the initial conversation, telling York from Deadly Premonition 2 to go to the valves and fix the shower himself. The first valve is in the restaurant, so go there and keep an eye out for a tall, grey pipe that protrudes from the wall. Sporting shouldn’t be too difficult.
Fortunately, York can interact with the valve without the player or York needing to be a licenced plumber. The first stage of the sidequest only requires pressing one button.
Again, speak with the concierge
The player must go back to the concierge after the first valve has been adjusted. The Concierge might still be at the desk depending on how quickly players locate the restaurant pipe. If not, York will have to wait for him to show up once more. It’s advised to get a smoke and wait until 16:30 or so for him to return to his desk.
When the concierge arrives, speak with him directly rather than ringing the bell, and he will explain what to do next.

Convoke The Bellboy
When York asks the concierge to fix the valve, he will immediately reply, “I have no idea how else to aid the problem,” while making a suggestion that the bellboy or the chef might have a better solution. Sadly, the bellboy is only on duty in the morning, so go to the lobby at about 9:30 and look for them there. When you speak to them, they will guide York to the second-floor hallway corner.
Take The Second Floor Up
