How to Play Valorant’s New Map Pearl
Pearl is not yet playable by the general audience. For the time being, only content creators and the press have access. The map will be available at the start of Episode (5), which premieres next week. The Episode 5 update will hit the US at 3 a.m. EST on Tuesday, June 22, and the EU/Rest of the World at 1 a.m. GMT on Wednesday, June 23.
Players will be able to start up the game. And play Pearl immediately once the update has been download, which will larger than usual.
You’ll notice a special “Pearl” game mode once you’ve entered the game. Select that option, and then begin the match as usual. Only Pearl games will found in this setting.
For the first two weeks, the map will not be available in Competitive queues – this is to iron out issues. This completely typical, as it has with other new maps brought to the game through it ‘Episode’ upgrade.
Pearl will most likely added to Competitive queues in a few weeks. And we’ll update this site and let you know when that happens.
