Apex Legends Mobile Cold Snap Release Date Trailer. The Cold Snap update for Apex Legends Mobile is now ready for download, and Respawn Entertainment is kicking things off with a fresh new gameplay trailer that showcases all of the new stuff players can expect to find in the mobile game’s latest update.
Loba will make his Apex Legends Mobile debut in the Cold Snap update, as previously revealed. But, while she’s usually the centre of attention, Apex Mobile’s newest throwable ordnance, Frost Grenades, may just outshine her. These icy explosives aren’t regular snowballs; they injure and freeze the enemy upon impact, limiting their ability to move.
Without treasure, no major Apex update would be complete. Today’s gameplay teaser shows off the new Frosted Loot Boxes and map adjustments stated in yesterday’s patch notes, as well as a first peek at some of the upcoming battle pass cosmetics—all of which are ice-themed.

Apex Legends for mobile offers both a normal and expanded premium battle pass, similar to Apex Legends on console and PC. While we won’t know the complete contents of the Cold Snap battle pass until the update is released, here’s what we do know thus far:

When the Cold Snap update goes live, players will also see a Town Takeover. On World’s Edge, the Climatizer is getting a chilly makeover that has a unique affect on gameplay. The Climatizer allows players to cover particular POIs with fresh snow, resulting in Frosted Loot Boxes containing collectible gems and Frost Grenades. Diamonds are found in enemy deathboxes and can be used to purchase cosmetics from the Cold Snap Seasonal Shop.
In addition to the Climatizer Town Takeover, this update will bring an LTM called Armed and Dangerous to the mobile game, allowing players to show off their talents with just shotguns and sniper rifles.
