Suggestions for Keeping Everyone Alive
Quick-Time Events (QTEs) and story possibilities will be there from the start of the game. Due to the rapid and unpredictable nature of cutscenes. It is a good idea to pause when reviewing the guide in between them; choosing/missing certain opportunities can mistakenly send players down an alternative story path.
It’s possible that deliberately failing a QTE is the route to go. So be cautious when making fast decisions throughout The Quarry. If players not used to completing QTEs, it a good idea to make manual backup saves before challenging gameplay parts.
Not all options will open up new story routes, but they will have an impact on the discourse. Only three decisions in the prologue, for example, affect the story’s outcome. While the player will encounter nearly 20 opportunities, QTEs, and dialogue options throughout the game.

Consequence:

Particularly the teddy bear on a desk on the left side of the hut. Abigail must decide whether or not to KEEP it until a crucial occasion far later on. Culminating in the notice “PATH UPDATED.”

Emma’s arrival on the island is the next critical step. To acquire a taser, climb inside the tree home and investigate the neighboring sacks first, rather than the suspicious trapdoor.
USE TASER on the monster that emerges after inspecting the trapdoor to start the rapid-fire chase phase.

Jacob and Emma briefly reunite in Chapter 6 before interrupted by another monster. Following a secondary chase phase, Jacob must HIDE rather than run and HOLD BREATH until the creature walks away.
Jacob will unavoidably walk into a bear trap after escaping the beast. Which he can attempt to PRY OPEN, but one of hunters will approach and knock him out in cutscene.
When Nick gets back to the pool house, he’ll start acting feral while embracing Abi. In order to avoid any attacks. Kaitlyn must INTERVENE to prevent Nick from pushed into the pool, as well as HELP NICK to avoid drowning.
Nick will seize Abi and fling her across the room when they return to the poolhouse. She’ll take up the shotgun and point it at Nick, then pull the trigger to SHOOT NICK. Abi will perish if she does not shoot since Nick transforms into a monster shortly after.

Choosing The REASSURING, SUSPICIOUS, and INTERESTED dialogue

Keeping Laura and Max Alive (Chapter 7)
DO NOT CALL OUT when prompted in Chapter 7. Since it flashes back to Laura waking up after drugged in the prologue. Instead, be COMPLIANT in your conversations with Travis and DON’T LASH OUT when you have the chance.
Multiple cutscenes will follow, so employ sympathetic language with Max and in the brief flash-forward with Ryan (REFLECTIVE, CURIOUS, OPTIMISTIC).
DO NOT CALL FOR HELP by letting the timer run out once the prompt for Laura arrives. Laura will eventually break away from her cell and be able to freely roam the police station.

Investigate the locker in the 3rd office upstairs; inside is a syringe that will used later to orchestrate a less risky escape. Return to the cell and conceal the syringe under a loose block in the wall before selecting GO TO SLEEP.
Why Do Not Grab The Gun
Laura must be HONEST and CONFIDENT throughout the next cutscene in order to set off an event; DO NOT GRAB THE GUN. Instead, Travis the cop will enter the jail after some additional speech. Allowing Laura to do a QTE and inject him with the syringe.
As a result of tranquilizing Travis, Laura will not automatically killed later on, and Max will live. Laura will have to grab the gun if she doesn’t discover and hide the syringe. Which will lead to a more dangerous QTE sequence. Laura will undoubtedly shot as retaliation if she shoots Travis.
Keeping Ryan and Laura Alive (Chapter 8)
The first few playable scenes of Chapter 8 rely solely on intelligent speech choices. But the last portion contains numerous game-altering sequences that demand your attention.
When climbing the stairs in the first segment, there are a few QTEs to be careful of. And failure can result in death. When Ryan and Laura explore the Hackett basement, a cutscene and many QTE sequences triggered. When they enter the red light corridor.
DO NOT OPEN THE CAGE
DO NOT OPEN THE CAGE AFTER THE FIRST QTE. Second, the player must HELP JACOB rather than STOP LAURA from firing the shotgun and killing the beast. The next step is for Ryan to select the two breakers that sum up to the labeled doors. BREAKER SELECTION 1+2 equals the first door, followed by 2+3 equals the second door.
Consequences: All human counselors will be safe while the monsters imprisoned. Monster Nick spared from shot by Laura. And Jacob released from his cage, thanks to the positive conversation choices. If you don’t respond quickly enough, both Nick and Jacob will killed.
Keep Everyone Alive (Chapter 9)
This chapter allows you to begin killing the Hacketts. Which a good idea because they not necessary for the “Everyone Survived” ending and it makes fleeing easier.
Start using the CURIOUS and POSITIVE chat options until Laura and Ryan are playable. When the old woman and Laura start fighting over the gun, MASH COMMAND BUTTON to kill her with the shotgun.
Even after a successful QTE, Ryan will stabbed during the cutscene. But it is critical that he DO NOT PULL KNIFE as it will required later. Ryan and Laura alternate in the next several scenes as they struggle to avoid attacked. Make careful to interact with nearby cabinet in area when you first start as Ryan so may hide in later.
Kill the Hacketts in Chapter 9
The next two portions consist of HIDE and HOLD BREATH QTEs; sure to let go when you only have about 5% of your breath left, as the opportunity limited. Laura must then dodge left three times before selecting ATTACK. Another Hackett will killed if the command button successfully smashed.
The next scene in Ryan’s story is a lengthier sequence of significant events. Dodge two QTEs to the left and right. Then HOLD BREATH till the red light goes out, but RELEASE the command button quickly or hunter will come back. Then Ryan has the chance to STAB the large guy; he won’t die right away, but it’s the only way to kill him.
In order to survive the blood loss and Laura’s eventual change, Ryan must be SYMPATHETIC and choose ACCEPT. Choose NOT TO PULL AWAY (to earn a trophy/achievement), and Dylan and Kaitlyn will reappear after a cutscene. Here, Dylan must WARN KAITLYN at every chance, allowing her to fend off the creatures by SMASHING the command button.
SILVER SHELLS
Abigail’s segment is brief but vital, since she must investigate the neighboring fuse box. And collect some SILVER SHELLS before climbing the ladder. When the perspective shifts to Laura, she will transform into a werewolf as part of the plot. But she will restore to normal as soon as Ryan SHOOTS the charging creature.
Consequences: The majority of the Hacketts slain in this extended chapter. But Jacob rescued and Laura granted mercy by Travis. Laura and Max curse will have been lift, allowing them to compete for the trophy/achievement while still living. Ryan will die if Chris not shot in time, therefore don’t miss opportunity.
Ending of Chapter 10 – Everyone Survives
Max’s curse has lifted, and we can now play as him in human form. Because the alternative option will murder Max, the only story choice that matters is allowing him to STAY. Then it’s on to Kaitlyn at the lodge. Where all of the unresolved elements from earlier will employed in the ultimate sequence of events.
Following Kaitlyn’s selection of PREPARE FOR ATTACK, she must select RUN, BEAM, Smash command button, RUN, INVESTIGATE, and lastly SHOOT. One more member of the Hackett family will slain, while the counselors will entirely protect.

Laura – Final Sequence
Laura enacts the conclusion of the story. To get some plot conclusion, start with the INQUISITIVE question. But prepare for a directional QTE and a GRAB GUN prompt. TAKE COVER and complete the QTE after a brief sequence, pausing only to leave a DETERMINED statement before the gunfire.
GIVE TO RYAN when asked with the shotgun option. Silas attacks after few PROBING and REFLECTIVE inquiries, but DO NOT RAISED GUN YET. Silas will killed later; if he killed too soon, the opportunity to assassinate Travis Hackett would lost.
DO NOT PRESS THE DIRECTIONAL QTE AT ALL; THE FINAL QTE MUST AVOIDED. If this QTE fails, either Laura or Travis will perish. Fortunately, if you miss the QTE, you can still SHOOT SILAS when aiming the gun. This is necessary once more; otherwise, Laura would perish.
Consequence
As a result, if all of the prior event gates have properly set up. All of the counselors will be able to effectively defend/distract the werewolves. All steps will have complet after the final werewolf Hacketts has slain. Resulting in the trophy/achievement displaying shortly after the epilogue cutscenes.
