Green Dragon Location In Osrs. Green dragons are popular monsters in OSRS, and they are frequently killed for their valuable drops and Slayer experience. They are guaranteed to drop green dragonhides and dragon bones, both of which are more expensive than guaranteed drops from similar level monsters.
Because they are dragons and can breathe dragonfire, you must be protected from their lethal breath. To fight green dragons at all, you must have completed the quest ‘Dragon Slayer I.’
To protect yourself from dragonfire, you can use either an anti-dragon shield or an antifire potion. Both of these items require you to begin ‘Dragon Slayer I’ with at least 32 Quest Points by speaking with the Guildmaster outside the Champion’s Guild.
You will end up killing a specific green dragon named Elvarg on Crandor during the quest. After that, you’ll be able to effectively kill green dragons in a variety of locations throughout the game. I’ll show you where to find green dragons in OSRS in this guide.

Overview of the Wilderness
As previously stated, green dragons can be found in a variety of locations throughout Gielinor. The majority of these locations, however, are in the Wilderness. As a result, you must prepare for the possibility of encountering pk’ers, or player killers.
As a result, I would recommend using anti-dragon shield instead of antifire potions, as the anti-dragon shield is less expensive on the Grand Exchange and much easier to replace if lost to a pk’er. If you lose yours, you can simply obtain a replacement from Duke Horatio in Lumbridge Castle.
Keep in mind that the green dragon locations are very popular for pk’ing because the drops are so valuable for their level. It is not a matter of if, but of when you will encounter pk’ers. You should only bring equipment that you are willing to lose.
If you enjoy this type of content and the Wilderness in general, you should learn how to obtain Ghostly Robes in OSRS.
Green dragons, fortunately, are the weakest of the adult dragons in OSRS. As a result, the equipment required to kill them is less expensive and easier to replace than that required to fight black or lava dragons.
Lair of Venenatis
Green dragons can be found in OSRS just south of Venenatis’ lair, on the eastern edge of the Wilderness. With eleven green dragons, this area is the most densely populated.
However, because this location is the second deepest into the Wilderness, there will be greater disparities between you and any other players or pk’ers who may attack you. You will also be unable to teleport unless you run to the obelisks scattered throughout the Wilderness.

Shadows’ Cemetery
Green dragons can also be found just north of the Graveyard of Shadows, which is itself just north of the Ferox Enclave in Old School RuneScape. This location is home to five dragons.
This is a nice location because it is close to the Ferox Enclave, a safe settlement within the Wilderness. If you need to resupply, simply run south to return to the Enclave. However, if your teleport is blocked by a pk’er, you will be unable to enter Ferox Enclave.
The Lava Maze
A third location to look for green dragons in OSRS is just south of the Lava Maze, which is located far north in the Wilderness. This is the most remote Wilderness location in this guide. As a reminder, this means that stronger pk’ers will be able to attack you.
There are five dragons south of the Lava Maze, and you can teleport directly there with a Burning Amulet. Because the maze is too deep into the Wilderness, you will be able to teleport there but not back out.
Fortress of the Dark Warrior
Green dragons can also be found west of the Dark Warrior’s Fortress, near the Wilderness’s western border in Old School RuneScape. This is the location in the lowest level Wilderness, and there are three dragons here.
This location appeals to me because of its location in the lower level Wilderness. This means more even fights if attacked by a pk’er, the ability to teleport, and the possibility of escaping by running back over the Wilderness ditch into Edgeville.
Cave of the Wilderness Slayer
The Wilderness Slayer Cave is the next location where you can find green dragons in OSRS. These green dragons are slightly more powerful than the ones outside the cave, with a level of 88 as opposed to the outside dragons’ level of 79.
Green dragons in the Slayer Cave have slightly better, more valuable possible drops because they are more powerful. They are still guaranteed to drop green dragonhide and dragon bones, but they may also drop valuable items such as the Larran’s Key.
The Wilderness Slayer Cave, on the other hand, is still a part of the Wilderness. Other players and pk’ers can still attack you in here. The Cave has two entrances, one west of Larran’s small chest in Wilderness 18 and another west of Venenatis’ nest in Wilderness 29.
Green Dragon Location In Osrs
Dungeon of Corsair Cove
Green dragons can also be found in areas other than the Wilderness in OSRS. To begin, there are a few green dragons in the Corsair Cove Dungeon. This area of the Dungeon, however, is inaccessible unless the quest Dragon Slayer II is completed.
To begin Dragon Slayer II, speak with Alec Kincade outside the Myth’s Guild. For this quest, you’ll need at least 200 Quest Points, 75 Magic, 70 Smithing, 68 Mining, 62 Crafting, 60 Agility, 60 Thieving, 50 Construction, and 50 Hitpoints.
Dragon Slayer II also has a few quest requirements. ‘Legend’s Quest,’ ‘Dream Mentor,’ ‘A Tail of Two Cats,’ ‘Ghosts Ahoy,’ ‘Bone Voyage,’ and ‘Client of Kourend’ are among them. The majority of these quests have prerequisites as well.
Alternative Forms
Green dragon variants can also be found in a variety of locations throughout OSRS. Each of the variants I’ll discuss counts as a green dragon for a Slayer Task. To begin, there are baby green dragons in the Brimhaven Dungeon. They are level 48 and are unable to use dragonfire.
They are much easier to kill as a result, but they only drop babydragon bones, which are not nearly as valuable as drops from an adult green dragon.
Finally, brutal green dragons can be found in the Ancient Cavern, which can be reached after completing some of Otto Godblessed’s barbarian training by diving into the whirlpool near him. Green dragons are even more powerful than their regular counterparts.
They are level 227 and can use dragonfire, melee, and magic to attack. As a result, bring prayer potions to keep your Protect from Magic up and use Ranged to kill them. I’d suggest a crossbow and an anti-dragon shield.
Last Thoughts
Green dragons can be found in a variety of locations in OSRS. Because the majority of them are in the wilderness, you must be prepared to fight for your life and your gear at any time. You can also fight them in the Corsari Cove Dungeon after completing ‘Dragon Slayer II.’
You can also fight two types of green dragons: baby green dragons and brutal green dragons. They can be found in Brimhaven Dungeon and the Ancient Cavern.
