One thing to keep in mind is that quick travel in V Rising is anything but straightforward. The two types of quick travel have different activation techniques and aren’t constantly available throughout the game. As a result, it’s a complicated procedure that we’re here to help simplify.

How Do I Fast Travel in V Rising?
In V Rising, there are two methods to move quickly: through Vampire Waygates or Caves.
The first option is far more practical, and it’s likely that you’ll utilise it the most. That’s because it’s practically an unlimited-use option, allowing you to easily travel between sites. Caves are few, as each path can only be used once before it becomes obsolete.
To utilise a Vampire Waygate, look at the map and go to the one that is closest to you. Each fast travel is only unlocked once you stumble across it in-game, so you’ll have to do a significant amount of exploring to collect them all.
Vampire Waygates cannot be used if you have anything in your inventory. Yes, it must be completely empty. This is inconvenient, so remember to store all of your belongings before flying.
The alternative method is to use Caves, which are more convenient but rare. As previously stated, they are one-time paths that cannot be reopened once completed. Use them wisely, only travelling through one if you absolutely have to; for example, to save your current life.

Vampire Waygates: Vampire Rising
- Woods of Farbane (four waygates, one in each corner)
- Dunley Farmlands is a farm in Dunley, England (one in the north, and three along the southern edge)
- Hills of Silverlight (one waygate in the northeast)
- Forest of the Cursed (one waygate in the southwest)
- In V Rising, there are ten Vampire Waygates strategically placed throughout the landscape.
To use them, you must locate the crafting recipe by fighting Polara the Faywalker, the boss. Collect 200 Blood Essence, 20 Planks, 20 Copper Ingots, and 10 Gold Dust after that.
The Vampire Waygate can then be activated by bringing them to your crafting table.
Rising Caves (V)
To use a cave, simply find it on the map and proceed there. You’ll see a rock with red streams spilling out of it, and you can activate it by pressing F.
You can’t choose where you end up in caves; instead, each one has a pre-determined location that you can’t change. The advantage is that, unlike Vampire Waygates, you can utilise them while holding goods in your inventory. The following are the locations:
- Within the Cursed Forest, there are two.
- Dunley Farmlands is a farm in Dunley, England (towards the south)
- Hills of Silverlight (southward)
When it comes to all of the V Rising teleport spots, that’s it! As you can tell, there’s plenty to understand before you embark on a fast travel journey, but the utility of being able to zip around cannot be understated. While you’re here, you may also learn how to obtain iron in V Rising.
